Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Yes!
1let’s not forget Mazie H who flew back to vote while battling stage 4 kidney cancer
2Thanks to all the senators who put people’s lives above country.
3Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And not to forget 48 rock-solid Senate Democrats, including somebody else interrupting cancer treatment (Maisie Hirono). Cheers for them all.
4McCain could stand up to McConnell/Pence/Ryan because he is facing an even uglier malignancy
5Thank you Senators Hirono, Collins, McCain and Murkowski!
Favorite moments: Mikey Dense slinking off the Senate floor and a tearful *itchy McConnell.
Wait for it: Donnie must be holding a twitling thought or two for Tom Price – he didn’t have the votes.
A think about it for Dean Heller. *itch made you walk the plank. John McCain threw you a rescue rope.

Donnie has a sad. Must change legislative procedures and a near admission that he’s a loser.

8I happened to awaken just before they voted and was so gratified to hear Senator McCain become the 3rd Republican “Nay”.
9I just had to email McCain, Collins and Murkowski to thank them for their grace under pressure and for placing principle above party. I did not know about Senator Hirono, but will email her as well. Only 3 Republicans with a conscience. That about says it all.
What they don’t fully realize is that those three plus all the Democrats saved them from sure destruction at the polls. Nuts!
Words I thought I would never say.—[Thank You John McCain]
10Sooo Grateful and Sooo Proud of Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins and especially John McCain and Mazi H. For their determination and huge effort to travel and VOTE NO.
11Marie H. and John M.put aside their own health challenges to travel a great distance to vote for Americans own Healthcare.
A BIG THANK YOU to ALL of you.
Thanks to Msb and Rastybob for saying what I wanted to say better than I could.
Ted Cruz’ former communications director, Rick Tyler, was on TV this morning saying that he thinks that Trump’s presidency is “legislatively, effectively over.” Don’t you believe it. There’s a ton of damage they can still do. They need to be fought every step of the way.
12Another campaign promise broken. And a good thing too. I hope millions of voters will remember how close they came to losing their health care because of these scumbags.
Glad that three GOP Senators have some compassion. And best wishes for Sen. Hirono in her hard fight with cancer too.
13Now for a delicious dish of schadenfreude topped with irony sauce. Get this. Mo Brooks. Yes him. Thinks Mitch McConnell should resign. Ouch.

14Good for John McCain, Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins. They stood up but with their votes they also covered the backs of the remaining moderates who voted yes. It was lazy and stupid to run on repeal and replace(not the Republican’s first major mistake). Let them work across the aisles and we all may be surprised…
