The “Nothing Goin’ On Here” Story of the Day

August 21, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

A Russian oligarch just bought BiteGrid, the company that manages Maryland’s voter registration database and candidate management operations.

I mean, what can you say except that you doubt that he’s up to no bad?  You don’t think this is something that ought to raise temperatures enough to boil blue crabs?

Republican do not appears to be concerned.  Democrats has issued a strong foot stomp.

“We also recently asked Treasury Secretary [Steven] Mnuchin to review the acquisition of ByteGrid in his role as Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States,” the Maryland Democrats wrote.

They’re counting on Mnuchin, who is obviously out shopping with his wife?

Find me a senator who can say, “Oh Hell No.”

Thanks to Chloe Bear for the heads up.

Guess it would be expecting too much to wish the dotard on the reality-tv set at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to give Vlad a ring about this. Dog knows the snacilbupeR in Congress won’t stomp on Donnie’s bromance with Putie and demand action.

Maryland has TWO, count them, two Democratic Senators. Cardin, older than Dog and Van Hollen who apparently is suffering from temporary laryngitis.

  4. The Russkies and all of the silent GOPs are probably exchanging recipes on roasting the American eagle and the bathroom uses for the American flag.

  5. Oh, fine, more…..

Side note but not trivial: Maryland’s crab fishery is in serious trouble– not because of pollution or overfishing, as usual, but because of Trump. His new lottery immigration-worker scheme means that nearly all the Mexican ladies who’ve worked in the crab-picking houses for years are still in Mexico, and the houses can’t find more than a few Americans who want to do the repetitive physical work for what they can afford to pay if they don’t price crab sky-high. So most of your crab is coming from Brazil or Vietnam now, and the crab houses and the crab fishermen may go out of business. But they’re still voting for Trump on the Eastern Shore!

  6. And just today FB outed Russian fake USA political sites. Apparently Pootie’s pledge to Tangerine Wankmaggot that Russia isn’t behind all this was not true.

Imagine! Our direst enemy lied to us and our Liar-in-Chief believed him!
Are we surprised? No, we are not.

  7. With all of the press on russian interference people sem to have overlookedd that the thuglicans literally “own” the voting systems.
Private thuglican associated companies with no oversight because of “trade secrets”. To muddy the waters they could be giving the hackers the keys to the software so as to avoid blame.

Could easily see a scenario where elections in certain areas (mostly in the traitor states- ga. Miss, nc, sc etc with red staes betraying their ancestors deaths – mich, minn etc) following close behind) are reduced to such confusion that incumbents are awarded new terms by demented donnies judges.

  8. Ho-kay! Anybody remember learning how ancient cultures voted? They used colored stones. The colors were assigned to the various candidates. The most stones of a certain color had the winner! Take that, hackers!
