The Era Of Lying Is Over

November 09, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Mike Pence and Nikki Haley are trying to give Trump accolades for this great news.

Pfizer announced Monday morning its coronavirus vaccine is 90% effective.

Pence jumps on this like green on grass.

No, no, no, little Uptight Skippy, Trump didn’t have a damn thing to do with this.

The pharmaceutical giant refused to partner with the Trump administration to develop the drug, instead it worked with a German group.

The CEO of Pfizer turned down the money Trump offered and worked with the German group.  So now Trump has to go to Germany to ask if we can please have some of their drug.

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

We could only wish the era of lying is over. Because it has proven to be so effective with the repugnantican base, afraid it will be their go to campaign strategy for years (not saying it hasn’t been).
Starting 1/20/21 PM, at least the era of lying out of the WH will be over (for years we hope).

  2. Catherine Riley says:

I hope his years of lying to the right wing nut jobs results in them refusing to take an effective and safe vaccine while the rest of us take it. I hope if trump asks Germany for it, they refuse to give it to him but will share it with Prez Elect Biden. That ought to frost trumps cookies.

  3. I know a CV19 researcher and he said that ALL vaccines tested useful to date can not be obtained in ‘merica! Of coarse the rich can always buy what they need!

  4. HUGE NEWS MIKE PENCE!
Due to the voter-candidate partnership in the last election you lost, and we won’t have to listen to your nonsense much longer.

  5. Well, I don,t khow if is a public/private partnership but the German research company which did the initial development, BioNTech, reportedly received over €300 million from the German federal government.

I think of the simile “like stink on shit” to refer to Pence although it’s possible to make a case he can be either or both.

I heard on NPR this morning a statement from Germany saying how pleased they are that beneficial relations will be restored when Biden takes office. Trump and Pence will be asterisks in the short term. Sadly for Texas, we have to live with the shame of Cruz/Cornyn for four/six more years.

Remember how President Eisenhower took credit for the Salk polio vaccine? Yeah, me neither.

You were probably already referencing this, but pence’s debate partner fly has already given his stamp of approval.

  13. Wait for it… wait for it:

The timing of Pfizer’s announcement is likely to feed unsubstantiated suspicions from Trump supporters that the pharmaceutical industry was withholding the news until after the election. Donald Trump Jr. tweeted: “The timing of this is pretty amazing. Nothing nefarious about the timing of this at all right?”

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted: … Nothing nefarious about the timing of this at all right?”

As usual, when the Trump family accuse any one else of anything, they offer up a prime example in the process (in this case Jr.’s tweet is in and of itself nefarious).

    14
  15. Rick, I think it was Donald Jr. who also accused Hunter Biden of living off of his father’s influence.

    15
  16. The lying not even close to over. The rePUKEians are still around and the molesters on the SCOTUS are still there to lie as usual.

  17. Brad in Dallas says:

Helige scheisse, I didn’t think of that. I can imagine Angela Merkle dangling that stuff over Trump’s head, and saying, “Send Steve Bannon to the Hague for trial, or you can watch Europe get the first billion doses. How’s that for a back rub, schwein?”

    17
  18. Elizabeth Moon says:

Well, if Trump hadn’t pulled the US out of the international vaccine group we might be the beneficiaries of Pfizer’s success…but he did, so we aren’t. Remember, Pence? You were there that day, weren’t you? Think I saw your sanctimonious smile right there behind his smug grin.
