The “Boys Will Be Boys” Alabama Road Tour Has Been Cancelled.
The Associated Press reports …
Even though Trump says he doubts all the women who reported that Roy Moore is a pervert, he thinks it’s best if he doesn’t actually go to Alabama. My guess is that Trump doesn’t want to sully his spotless reputation on women’s issues.
Trump is now contending that the Access Hollywood tape is fake news.
But, apparently, Trump now believes that, somehow, the tape is either false or has been doctored. And, not only that, but, according to the Times report, Trump has shared his theory with at least one adviser and a sitting US senator. (What I wouldn’t pay to be a fly on the wall of that conversation!)
It use to be true but now it’s not. Magic.
Magic?
Or dementia?
Mid morning protocol at the White House:
1Mr President, what did you have for breakfast today?
When my dad was hospitalized a couple years ago he always got the date right, but nothing else, when they asked him the usual questions. I happened to watch once and saw his eyes flick to the whiteboard on the wall behind the doc, where the date was prominently written in big letters. He didn’t know where he was, or why he was there, but he could still read.
2Tape was doctored of course ,in trump’s mind it was. I hate to throw around the dementia word because that is a real sad issue for some. I truly believe trump has some issues relating to his childhood and that he is beyond a diagnosis by the untrained. But something is wrong… and everyone in the WH is getting it too!
3Was wondering just how long it would take him to get to this! His impeachment file is growing about 8 times faster than normal (previous impeachment attempts with other Presidents). I still predict that he will be found at some point out and about unguarded and totally over the brink psychotic.
4In his defense, Donnie is no longer grabbing just the women by the what he said to Billy Bush. Now he and his entire Dolt45 maladministration are grabbing our entire nation by our parts and twisting.
5I think we all should be more philosophical about this. After all, when Trump has finished raping the country and rendering it uninhabitable, Putin will likely no longer want to destroy us and leave us alone.

6I’ve been wanting to say this and the thread is as close as we’ve gotten since the Barton-winkie one, but can we please make a distinction between Al Franken and the other cases. Franken was acting inappropriately, yes, and the apology was needed, but all he was doing was looking for a funny reaction during a selfie — except, possibly for the first kiss story, again seeming little more than a joke and attempt to disconcert a fellow actor. The others — except for some of Trump’s like the backstage stories, which were pure dominance — were actual attempts to obtain sex in some form or other. Franken’s were jokes gone bad, and the idea of his resigning is a little silly

11I don’t think it’s dementia. I think it’s Donnie’s recognition (some things do occasionally filter into his brain) that p****-grabbing was “okay” then and now people are starting to think that it’s not, for reasons inexplicable to Donnie, so maybe he’d better say it never happened, he didn’t say that, it’s fake news, it’s Hillary’s and Obama’s fault, and they’re all liars except him.
