Step Aside, We Need To Clear That Area Of Hell Over There

November 23, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

It appears we have a large contingency of white men in suits heading straight to hell with some ‘splainin’ to do.

Journalist Carl Bernstein on Sunday night called out Republicans in the Senate who he said have privately ripped Donald Trump while publicly remaining silent as the president attempts to undermine the results of the election via lawsuits based on false claims.

The 21 senators he named include: Sen. John Cornyn (Texas), Sen. Rick Scott (Fla.), and Senate Majority Whip John Thune (S.D., Rob Portman (Ohio), Lamar Alexander (Tenn.), Ben Sasse (Neb.), Roy Blunt (Mo.), Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), Mitt Romney (Utah), Mike Braun (Ind), Todd Young (Ind.), Tim Scott (S.D.), Marco Rubio (Fla.), Chuck Grassley (Iowa), Richard Burr (N.C.), Pat Toomey (Pa.), Martha McSally (Ariz.), Jerry Moran (Kansas), Pat Roberts (Kansas), and Richard Shelby (Ala.).

Oh hell, who are we kidding?  It’s every damn one of them.  Every damn one of them.

There’s a real special place in hell for these weak, fragile, little guys.  What lies must they tell themselves to sleep at night?

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

Be social and share!

Not speaking up in public? What “dirt” or “skeleton” does tRump have on each of them?

Every one of them is violating their sworn oath to protect and defend the constitution by remaining silent during this prolonged attack from the white house.

Headline: Supreme Court declines to take action on Trump’s Pennsylvania appeal prior to certification of Biden win.

Most Republican Senators are extremely wealthy.

In 2009 it was estimated that the average U.S. Senator had a net worth in excess of $15 million. Steve Daines from my home state of Montana has a net worth of $30 to $50 million. He has so much money that he can’t keep a straight count.

These representatives of the millionaire class are in the Senate because they want the prestige and power of the office. They protect their own interests and that of the one percent that owns so much of our nation. That is their only job.

Repugnantican congresspersons must have had to take a hypocrisy oath when they were seated. It’s not just the senators mentioned, it’s virtually all of the repugnanticans in congress and state legislators, too.
The only thing distinguished about them is they will be distinguished as having torn our democratic system of elections apart for years to come.
Hell is too good for them. I think they should be forced to watch replays of theirs and Trumpf lies and deceptions for life.

  7. I’m generally not a fan, but credit where credit is due. Toomey, from my state, has been on the teevee and in the press calling for Trump to concede.

He’s also retiring in 2022 and has nothing to lose, so limited credit.

There is a story I once read, which claimed every incoming President summoned J. Edgar Hoover to the Oval Office soon after inauguration, with the intention to fire him. It seems none of them liked Hoover or his tactics. J. Edgar always arrived with a folder containing FBI files on the new President. After a brief skim of the contents, Hoover was then asked if he’d like to stay on as director of the FBI.

Trump probably has access to similar files on Republican Senators and Representatives.

  10. Rick @9,

Yeah but, surely they’ve all seen that in the era of Drumpf that doesn’t matter any more. Is he really the only one with so little shame that he knows he can get away with anything? A couple of them have tried and failed, like pedo Donnie Moore, and Miss Linsey is still keeping his secrets secret, but Matt Gaetz seems like he’s willing to give it a try.

  11. Both of my senators from IN have had their noses up where the sun don’t shine……I cannot believe they are on Bernstein’s list.
I would drop over if either of them ever muddied the waters……

Sherrod Brown is often heard asking how Rob Portman walks around the Senate floor without a spine.

21 GOP Senators have at least snarked at/about Trump privately…the other GOP Senators still worship at his throne.

    Not a spine among them.

  14. Not only are most senators millionaires, but now 52% of representatives also are.

And– 85% of all races are funded by 5% of the population.

While the Senate is busy defending the interests of the plutocracy, the House is largely owned by them.

    14
  15. Tim Scott is not from SD, but he’d obviously fit right in with the GOP jellyfish that represent trump in that state.

This all happened because some Democrats and independents would not vote for Hillary Clinton, and they either voted Republican or abstained from voting!!

    Voting badly has its consequences!
