Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
3.9M ‘viewers’ or 3.~M people who fell asleep with the TV on and luckily did not awaken to view the nightmare?
1A rerun of The Apprentice may have rated as high.
2Trump jumped the shark with this one.
Lol! Nothing beats Thelma Sue’s deep hood fried Road Kill on a stick.
3I realized too late, I should have said he really “Trumped the shark” on this one…
4O/T
For those of us totally tired of IQ4.5, Poor People’s Campaign Presidential Forum with the 2020 candidates. Moderator: Joy Reid Thus far, Marianne Williamson, Senator Liz Warren, Sen Michael Bennet, Rep. Eric Swalwell. And way too much Rev Barber. Others to come.

Hopefully youtube will provide a link to review this that allows one to fast forward to hear the candidates.
5Loser.
6This made me google Celebrity Family Feud. That was entertaining
7Guy Fieri in a speedo. thanks so much for that. I will require lots more brain bleach.

Agreed. Celebrity Monkey Bowling it is. Or do the unthinkable, and actually turn off the damn TV.

9Disagree on Rev. Barber. I think he’s an authentic moral voice, unlike the right wing fake pious charlatans who usually show up on the air.
I hate doing this. But per my comment@15 on , Another War, Another Big Lie, we need to take a breath. Then 47 more whithout the deluge. And remember how we use to think before the deluge.
10Beause it’s changed.
Whether we want to admit it or not.
Lunargent@9, you’re probably correct that Barber is sincere/decent/earnest unlike the Learjet contingent. But the guy was posing paragraphs, not questions to the candidates. If his purpose was to receive answers, taking a breath and allowing them to answer would have better suited his purpose. It’s a style thing; ask the question, hand them the mic and give them enough time to hang themselves, or not.
