The Energy Department on Monday agreed to begin releasing a cache of Ukraine-related records, including former Energy Secretary Rick Perry’s communications with high-level Ukrainian officials.
Mark your calendar!
Tuesday, January 28 – documents will include records relating to the presidential delegation Perry led to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s inauguration last May. This one will probably involve begging and the word bullshit several times.
Tuesday, February 4 – Another package of documents, focused in part on Perry’s and McCormack’s communications with Giuliani. Oh, yummy!
Monday, March 16 – described only as “a third cache of Ukraine-related documents.” This is probably the good stuff.
Somebody please hide Rick’s passport. Now that he’s got those fake Superman glasses, he’s ready to make a quick getaway.
Ah but will they just release sheaves and sheaves of paper consisting of completely blacked out retractions that do NOT even miss a comma or a period.

2Could someone with access to legal knowledge (maybe even someone with a judge and lawyer in the immediate family) explain the last sentence in the Hill article:
She argued on Monday that the department did not respond to a House subpoena because lawmakers “subpoenaed the Department for documents without proper authorization, ignoring its own rules.”
My question: is that as ridiculous of an argument as I think it is? A DOE drone ignoring a subpoena because she claims to have the authority to interpret House of Rep. rules? And if so, shouldn’t the House now subpoena any documents and communications that were used to come up with that amazing claim?
I suspect the actual reaction at the DOE was something like the screams and squeals when hogs get slaughtered.

4This is the sort of pay to play judges we will have to live with unless new D admin dedicates a special prosecutor with an unlimited budget to get them all on perjury before congress ( looking at you brett and clarence and john on scotus) and any other crime, missteo or ethical violation. 5K@4, you had me right up until “jaywalking.” Not even a CA jury composed entirely of liberals would convict Donnie of any crime that involved him walking. We have the golf cart bills that would exonerate him; not to mention that not so glorious picture of pResident Lardass riding in a golf cart when other world leaders at the G7 climbed 700 yards. Would also gif you the picture of Orange Foolius dismounting a golf cart in a sand trap, but he was wearing shorts … no amount of eye bleach would suffice.

I was referring to investigations/ impeachments of the true believers in demented donnie who have been ensconced within the judiciary.
Such as D.C. district judge slow walking subpoena for dumbo’s tax returns under provisions of law passed after teapot dome.
Totally agree with your point that jumbo lard would never be caught walking, even if he could.

8About that judge you mention, and others like him thwarting the rule of law due to Moscow Mitch. It’s the full on Harry Claiborne treatment. Harry went to jail for far less than these Federalist Society hacks.
