Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Love reason #5.
1Have a big sad, Juanita Jean. The link doesn’t work for me and pasting it into a new browser failed, too.
Brian E, #5, so there’s more.
Synopsis please, anyone?
2Well, Cleveland DOES have a nice rose garden.
3Mainly, Cleveland is a long way from Texas because the GOPS are afraid the usual suspects (Gohmert, Stockman, Perry etc) will show up and embarrass everyone.
4PKM just go to http://www.outsmartmagazine.com/ and scroll, you’ll find JJ’s article (Actually writing as Miz Bankston herownself here :D)
5And PKM it’s the top 20 reasons the Rethugs are going to Cleveland. I rather like number 2; think 21 is because Mr Orange Slush loathed looney Louie and put his foot down? I wonder…
And try this link?

Thank you, Aggieland liz, when Mrs Bankston writes or types for Juanita Jean, Jane and I don’t want to miss a word!
Speaker, the new Orange is Black, Boehner without a doubt doesn’t want his convention anywhere near Teabagistan. Their wing nut religious base is too close to Las Vegas, too. Bundistan is within a 40 mile drive of Las Vegas. And, despite the current wing nut Gov of PA, there’s public transportation and a whole number of people that would mobilize to yell some thoughts at the Tea Bags.
Cleveland. Well, ok. Let it come as a huge surprise to the Neonuts that they are pretty much held in disdain, except for certain gerrymandered pockets of crazy.
2014 belongs to the Democratic Party, the only price to ‘pay’ is voting. Let’s vote!
7Laughed gleefully. Yes, yes, yes.
8“You know how when you’re dead, you don’t know it, but you make it miserable for everyone around you? Same deal with stupid.”
I laughed so hard, I thought I’d died.
9A twmdbs production! Congrats PKM for making #1!
10The GOP convention in Cleveland? Another mistake on the lake.
11OMG! After several tries actually got the link to work!!
12Great stuff, JJ!!
Great article from JJ and great comeback in the comments section from Ralph! Still laughing!
13Glad JJ posted to Facebook … loved it, shared it!!
14Well, at least anyone who wants to can visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! No other reason to go to Cleveland!
15While Cleveland may be thought of a the epitome of urban/ manufacturing/economic decline, it does have one very wonderful, special thing: the Cleveland Clinic. Not only do they have superspecialists, but even their administrative practices put to shame those of other renowned medical centers. If you doubt it, don’t get sick with a rare disease!!
16You are absolutely correct, IronCelt. I did happen to have a rare genetic heart disease, for which surgeons in my city had little experience. The awe-inspiring Cleveland Heart and Vascular Institute, Cleveland Clinic,
17has a center for this particular problem and after having open heart surgery there, I cannot sing their praises enough. Not only that, but their Cleveland Symphony Orchestra
is top notch. Coming from Steeler country, let’s just say my eyes were opened-widely!
Don’t forget the museums, the ballet, and mostly the blue collar workers who represent the backbone of hard working Americans everywhere. We need help getting rid of Koch brothers politicians. You want Boehner out, but not replaced by a teaparty republican candidate? Donate to http://www.poetterforcongress.com/contribute
18Poetter has less than 100,000 dollars in his campaign coffers, while Boehner has more than 15 million dollars, mostly from outside of Ohio.
Same thing with our Democratic candidate for governor Ed Fitzgerald.
You saw how important Ohio is to republicans through Karl Rove’s meltdown on election night. Help us rid Ohio of Koch bro’s politicians, PLEASE!

Wonderful photo of you on that article!
19All the Cleveland haters please stop. Cleveland has one of the finest art museums in the world, amazing world class orchestra and many wonderful museums too numerous to name in addition to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Cleveland has amazing architecture, fabulous restaurants and many fine institutions of higher education and research. Unless you have spent time there in the past decade, and even if you have, no reason to spew negative comments about an incredible and richly democratic blue city.
20Perhaps the RNC will be held in Cleveland because the Gay Games are being played in Cleveland. Just a thought.
21Loved all of them and some of the comments…you certainly have a way with words, ma’am!
22So happy to be part of this group!
Shared the Outsmart link on my FB. Wonderful!
