Preet Goes Tweet
I’m beginning to think that Preet Bharara is a whole lot pissed-off at Donald Trump.
I guess you’re going to have to sign-up for Twitter to follow some fun stuff. You don’t have to tweet. Just make up a name and get an account. I have an account but I don’t tweet.
Anyway, Preet starts off with this ….
And then he goes on for tweet after tweet after tweet with everything hoaxy (my new word) that Trump has done.
Seriously, it goes on and on.
After a while, George Conway butts in and says, “Preet, you’re gonna be up all night.” Now that, Folks, is entertainment in these troubled times.
Huff Post, in their usual dampening all the fun way, tells about it.
All that we are not stares back at what we are.

Elizabeth Warren Just Seven Days Ago: Joe Biden ‘A Big Risk’ Who ‘Will Not Meet This Moment’
The Hill

Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Joe Biden: “No matter how many Washington insiders tell you to support him, nominating their fellow Washington insider will not meet this moment. Nominating a man who says we do not need any fundamental change in this country will not meet this moment.”

1January 2021 – keep the Senators in the Senate! That would be Senators Harris, Klobuchar, and Warren. Let’s do cabinet choices with nominations of Preet Bahara and Letitia James for United States Attorney General. Let’s say Preet because Ms. James has plenty in New York to keep IQ4.5* and his* family rethinking their next residence. Congressman Schiff and the entire House impeachment team are worthy of nominations, too. But why take Democratic power out of Congress? We like Congresswoman Fredericka Wilson for Secretary of Education, but certainly she can suggest a few great replacements for Bitsy DeVile who is not in Congress.
2megasoid, Senator Warren is correct. Let’s hope she and Senator Sanders carry big shillelaghs to Milwaukee in July. As IQ4.5* has demonstrated an artificial dead potted plant could occupy the Oval Office. The damage and conversely damage control happen at cabinet and agency level. Sure this “progressive” could/would vote for Biden, but wanting some major concessions in the areas that concern all of us. If Chuck Schumer stepped aside so Senator Warren becomes Senate Majority Leader, I could be very happy. Yeah dreaming here …
3Status Quo Joe
Billionaires Michael Bloomberg and Jamie Dimon for Cabinet Posts
“The establishment wing of the party didn’t fall into line behind Biden despite the fact that he’d put Bloomberg and Jamie Dimon in his cabinet. They did it because of that. This is who they are.”
Edit: Axios reported Monday that the former vice president and his campaign advisers are weighing Dimon for treasury secretary, a cabinet position tasked with overseeing the U.S. financial system. Biden is also considering Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Bank of America vice chair Anne Finucane for the top Treasury post.
Bloomberg, who dropped out of the presidential race last week and immediately endorsed Biden, “would be top possibility to head the World Bank” under a Biden administration, according to Axios.
Progressive observers were appalled, if not surprised, by the preliminary list of potential Biden appointees, which Axios reported just 24 hours before Democratic primary contests in six states.

4Fundamental unchanged we can believe in!
5Shouldn’t Jamie Dimon be in prison? Thanks Joe. Bernie, Liz … about those shillelaghs … unless Axios is trolling us or Axios is being trolled by someone in the ‘centrist’ camp throwing out trial balloons, someone needs to be thumped back into their senses.
Trial balloon? Okay. How is this for an answer: oh hell to the nizzie no, Joe.
6megasoid, we feel as if we’ve landed on an oscillating runway. Every time we emerge our heads into some positive light, reality smacks us. Again. Nothing could be worse than IQ4.5*, yet somehow someway third way Ds keep trying.
7Jane & PKM @7 – Lucky for us that we got a one day warning before the elections.
Naomi Klein takes on Cory Booker and other ‘corporate Dems’ over Biden backing
Naomi Klein

@NaomiAKlein
We need a #GreenNewDeal to fight climate chaos but also to protect economies from the boom-bust-cycle that is rocking oil and gas states right now. The price of sunlight never crashes. There is no cartel that can control the wind. Reality keeps endorsing #Bernie2020
Klein also pointed the nominating contests in six states Tuesday in which 352 delegates are up for grabs. Primary voters in Idaho, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, and Washington will have a chance to “[s]how what unity for people + planet looks like,” she said.
Booker ended his own Democratic presidential campaign in January, several months after criticizing Biden’s former “relationships with proud segregationists” and Biden’s criminal justice plan. Booker also previously said there were legitimate concerns about the vice president’s at-times “fumbling” and “meandering” speeches, saying in September, “There are definitely moments you listen to Joe Biden and you just wonder.”

8Preet,i dont have a twit or face, but a avid follower of your investigations ,bill browder, sergie magnitski, and trumps ties to money laundering thru his enterprises..funny how you were fired a few weeks after trump, was sworn at..well not funny.. but i hope that the case will reopen with a new admin.i will also mention james henry, and his piece in the american intrest.com and BBC interview about trump money laundering enterprise.. im still scratching my head about mnuchin, and how he got to be sec of tres, after the foreclosure robo signing debacle,,, preet for dept of justice, then you can fire barr….
9megasoid, honestly other than Ms. Juanita Jean Herownself, who can we trust to land the plane at this juncture? Tom Perez? Joe Biden? Any of the candidates who have suspended? Meanwhile waiting for a sign from Jen Granholm as to whether or not she has a grip on Joe.
10I can relate, Preet. I’m just trying to keep my powder dry till closer to November.
Re: Biden did y’all see this Axios article about speculation about Biden’s picks for presidential appointees? Helluva lot of Wall Street types on the list of Joe’s closest supporters. What are the odds a President Biden would confront billionaire influence in politics, with Jamie Diamond in his cabinet? Or repair government oversight of corporations, with the former Bank of America exec on his advisors list? Or roll back tax giveaways to the 1%? Or even beef up IRS enforcement of the tax laws we have left?

11Here’s a long shot and a long read.
How Bernie could destroy Biden in 120 minutes or less.

12sooooo in addition to enjoying preet’s tweets, and george’s advice to preet, i very much enjoyed the pic of the corgi puppy that george posted. i’m there all day for cute dogs and last night was a night for a little cute dog break…….
13Full disclosure. My entire opinion of Naomi Klein is based on The Shock Doctrine.
14Disaster Capitalism.
The fairly new paradigm of what our government is rapidly devolving into.
Decades, yeah. But lately in earnest.
I haven’t read much of her stuff since then, but I feel purty certain I’d give her a fist bump. Given the chance.
