BRUSSELS — The European Parliament has passed a nonbinding resolution calling for the reintroduction of visa requirements for American citizens, raising the stakes in a long-running battle over the United States’ refusal to grant visa-free access to citizens of five European Union countries.

Claude Moraes is a British lawmaker who leads the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs in the European Parliament.  He says our policy is making people in Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Poland and Romania feel it gives them second-class treatment.

He adds  —-

“There’s no denying heightened concern about the current administration, but that’s more about uncertainty about who’s in charge and how the State Department is working.”

Honey, here’s the deal: the state department doesn’t work. Rex Tillerson was appointed Secretary of State as a favor to Vladimir Putin. Trump had never met Tillerson before he was appointed.

And by the way, European Union, if you think you’re being treated like a second class person, just think how we feel!

Y’all, I had to read this twice to see if I was reading what I thought I was reading.

Advisers to President Donald Trump are urging him to purge the government of former President Barack Obama’s political appointees and quickly install more people who are loyal to him, amid a cascade of damaging stories that have put his nascent administration in seemingly constant crisis-control mode.

A number of his advisers believe Obama officials are behind the leaks and are seeking to undermine his presidency, with just the latest example coming from reports that Attorney General Jeff Sessions met twice last year with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. and apparently misled senators about the interactions during his confirmation hearing.

Goodness sake – they are calling for the Kill the Messenger form of honest government. If you’re lying, cheating, and stealing, the way to fix it is to fire the people talking about it.

And the latest that Trump is trying to push is that we’re all just filled to the brim with “anti-Russian hysteria.”  We don’t like our attorney general lying to congress only because we don’t like Russia.

Tarrant County (think Fort Worth) Republican Congressman Michael Burgess has finally agreed to have a town hall meeting. Burgess was one of the leading proponents of impeaching Barack Obama, although he never got around to pondering why.

Fort Worth Republicans have declared war.  They are not anywhere near ready to cede an inch of lily white ritzy to the dirty scoundrels who dare question the pureness of Congressman Burgess’ intent for his constituents.  They are girding up their loins and are ready to hit you with their portfolios.

Here’s how they are billing his town hall.
