Oh, yeah. It’s just perfect – Trump’s and McConnell’s rush to pack the court with anti-choice, anti-American, and religious ideologues to protect the 2020 election just backfired. The rushed up and non-masked ceremony to announce Amy Coney Barrett as RBG’s replacement is becoming the most prominent US super-spreader event so far. With over 150 unprotected guests, Trump and Barrett flouted public health policy, recklessly exposing staff, press, Secret Service, and many others to the deadly Coronavirus. The result? Trump has contracted the virus and is at Walter Reed Hospital as doctors use experimental treatments on him to counter his inherent risks of old, fat, terrible condition, and just fucking stupid. Others infected are Melania, Trump Best Girl Hope Hicks, Utah Senator Mike Lee, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, Rev. John Jenkins (president of Notre Dame), Thom Tillis, NC Senator, three unnamed reporters, Kellyanne Conway, and God knows who else. The stupidity of Trump and his minions was on public display and now many are paying the price. Many more are at risk.
It seems that RBG just won her first case from the Great Beyond, wherever that is. Trump should have paid attention to her request.
Karma is a bitch.

No doubt that team Trump were super spreaders.
But now we get to add the RNC.
And think of all the hairdressers and make up artists she coughed on.
And then just for fun on a Friday – Melania on Fu**kin Christmas.
Click right here.

All last week, I worked with some really good people to try to get a few extra drop boxes for mail ballots.
Under state law we can turn in mail ballots by hand instead of using the mail. They must be turned by the voter and ID must be shown. Very few people did it because you could depend on the mail. Now, not so much. Many people who are over 65 or handicapped always voted in person anyway because they enjoy it. Now, with Covid, not so much.
We have one turn location where you can turn in your mail ballot. It is a busy county building where all the workers and volunteers are running the election. First you have to stand in line to sign into the building to get past the front door. You temperature will be taken. Then you stand in line again down a long hallway where the county health department is and sick people are coming in. The building is a former WalMart so think of going in the front door of a giant WalMart and walking back to the far right corner. That’s where you’ll turn in your ballot and show your ID.
According to the Google it takes 59 minutes to drive from one end of our county to the other, not during traffic.
So, to help old people and sick people, we asked each county commissioner to set up a county annex or use their office as a place people could turn in their ballots. Three of the four were perfectly agreeable and even wanted to set up a couple more because that would be helpful to old people or handicapped people. Yes, it would. Let’s not try to kill off all the old people by making them stand in line for hours or disenfranchise them because their ballot got lost in the mail.
It worked like a charm and this afternoon, our county judge announced the new locations and thanked the county commissioners, the election officials, and everybody who worked hard to get this done.
An hour later, along comes Greg Abbott.

I’m coming after him in two years with intent to barbeque.
Sumbitch.

Kyle Rittenhouse took an illegal gun across state lines. He lied and told people he was a paramedic. Then just for the hell of it, he killed two people.
NBC News has just uncovered an internal document from the Department of Homeland Security telling officials to say that Kyle Rittenhouse “took his rifle to the scene of the rioting to help defend small business owners.”
It is unclear whether any of the talking points originated at the White House or within Homeland Security’s own press office.
They were also told to bring any question back around to the need for “law and order.”
People who work long term at DHS said they have never been given a document like this.
Defend small business owners.
They are not leaks at the White House now. It’s a damn pasta strainer.
