Here’s One —

Okay, so who created the scientists and the chemicals and the education and the fingers and the knowledge?
And when you get through answering that, tell me who created Covid?
You can’t have your communion wafer and eat it, too.
You know, check the stats on how herd immunity is working vs. the vaccine. And then let God speak for her herself.

Okay, he ain’t dead but he is flopping around on the floor.
It seems that Trump’s friends talked him out of a press conference tomorrow.
Awwwww, too bad so sad he can’t draw a crowd anymore.
I think there’s more involved. I think his minions know he’s nuts. New text messages uncovered: This was written on January 10th by Sean Hannity.
“Guys, we have a clear path to land the plane in 9 days,” Hannity wrote to then-Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio). “He can’t mention the election again. He can’t mention the election again. Ever. I did not have a good call with him today. And worse, I’m not sure what is left to do or say, and I don’t like not knowing if it’s truly understood. Ideas?”
Land the plane? On January 19? Maybe, just maybe, he meant the inauguration and getting Trump out of town because not having “a good call” with a crazy man who you’re not sure understands you can’t be a nice place to be.
And, Darlin’, when you’re asking Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan for help with a psychotic, you just bought a ticket to a goat rodeo.

Thelma said that Ted Cruz is testing the Jesus in her. I get it, I really do.
Ted has his own podcast now. I can’t listen to it under strict orders from a pretty good cardiologist, but I am told that his latest babble is that ..
Sen. Ted Cruz said that a Republican-led House after the 2022 elections likely will consider impeaching President Biden on “multiple grounds.”
In the latest episode of his podcast “Verdict with Ted Cruz,” the Texas Republican said he was extremely confident that his party will win Congressional majorities and that this would open the door for retaliation against the Democrats for impeaching then-President Donald Trump.
His theory is that Republicans don’t need a reason to impeach Biden because Democrats didn’t have a reason to impeach Trump. They are going to do it just for retaliation.
Remember how they spent eight years suing Obama? And none of it worked?
Look, I know we’ve got Joe Manchin, but they’ve got two ultra rightwing drama queens fixin’ to bitch slap each other. Dan Crenshaw and Majorie Taylor Greene are baring their teeth, Honey. I mean, when even your subgroups are infighting, you’ve got some repair work to do.
Meanwhile, Ted’s out there leading a one man parade. It’s gonna take some pom-poms and glitter for him to get noticed and that’s what this impeachment stuff is.

So, now we find out that Dan Patrick has covid after he had it. I know why he didn’t tell anybody.
He didn’t tell anybody because he was hiding from Mistress Karma. Remember that this is the guy who told us at the beginning of Covid that all grandparents should be will to die of Covid if it meant keeping capitalism alive for our grandchildren. He said he was including himself, but obviously he had his fingers crossed.
Nice move, Patrick.
Poor guy has so few friends that nobody even missed him.

Okay, so I came across this and it confused me.

So, the poll says that 49% say it was “an insurrection … that threatened democracy.”
Then 19% said it was unfortunate but “it’s in the past,” meaning that they have had enough Donald Trump and his hillbillies to last a lifetime so quit talking about it.
And last and least, 25% say that it was a “political act of free speech,” without considering the physical damage to the capitol building and five people who died of free speech.
So, it seems to me that we have decided what to call it.
Just 25% think this was an act of heroics and they all live in states who didn’t learn a damn thing in the civil war.

Much has been written about the “Let’s go Brandon” phenomenon. In the show “The Simpsons” there was an episode where Homer joined a barbershop quartet. They wanted to come up with a name that would be hilarious at first and then lose its edge with each passing mention. They came up with the B Sharps.
Let’s Go Brandon is the political equivalent. It’s absolutely juvenile on any number of levels and demonstrates a kind of lack of respect that we have come to expect from conservatives. Leave it our state’s leadership to join in on the fun.
Abbott is now playing the role of the prodigal son. Of course, that would only be true if Abbott, Dan Patrick, and the rest of the Texas leadership were a little more respectable. At least the prodigal son from the Bible didn’t punch his father in the face or knee him in the crotch on his way out the door the first time.
See, we didn’t need any of these mask mandates, quarantine rules, rapid testing supplies, or anything like that. We are big, rugged Texans that love being on our own figuratively and literally. We have our own electricity grid. We have our own science when it comes to the pandemic. Just stay the hell out Brandon and let us live our own lives.
Oh wait a minute. Not so fast Brandon. Did I say I wanted you to get the hell out of Texas? I meant that we needed you to come save us from ourselves. It seems Abbott has come back and asked Brandon to save us. Sadly this wasn’t the first time and if he is reelected in 2022 it likely won’t be the last. Hell, if we have another winter storm like we had last year we might be going back to the well again.
In fact, Texas leadership did little to nothing to prevent that from happening. Thus, we see the pattern with Abbott’s leadership style. Insult everyone around you, do nothing to avert disaster, and then come crawling back when times of desperate. Except Abbott is incapable of crawling whether we are being literal or metaphorical. He seems too obtuse to realize the predicament he has put himself in.
This time it is in regards to Omicron variant of the corona virus. We didn’t need to be careful with this stuff. It was always a hoax until it wasn’t. So thanks for your help Brandon. I’ll stop insulting you long enough to accept it and then we will go right back to insulting you. I think I’d rather hear the B Sharps in concert.
