On The Road Again

June 25, 2014 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Ole Bubba and I are on the road to the Texas Democratic Convention. I’m posting from my iPhone so if this looks weird, blame Bill Gates.

The Supremes decision, the senate race results in Mississippi, and a boatload of other stuff is happening. Entertain yourself right here for the six hours between me and wifi in Dallas.

And don’t forget John Boehner’s idiot lawsuit.

And don’t try to break into my house. Retired parole officer Marsha is there along with her dog Baby, who ain’t no damn baby.  Truman is there along with Bessie.  Bessie is not a dog.  Let’s just say that Bessie can’t get on an airplane.

See ya later.  Talk it up.

Be social and share!

If moss won’t grow on a rolling stone, then you and Bubba don’t even collect dust. While you are en route, let’s contemplate why teabagger McDaniels says he lost the GOP primary in Mixissippi: Democrats. And probably Benghazi and Obama. Hope so.

  2. maryelle — Of course you’re correct. We all “know” that Democrats and President Obama are responsible for everything anybody on the far right doesn’t like, including the common cold. If it weren’t Mississippi, I’d be inclined to say that maybe the voters realized the teabagger was also a scumbag (did I just repeat myself?).

JJ and Bubba — drive safe. Valuable cargo onboard.

I think it’s amazing that you and Bubba do the politics thing together and have for so long. I guess there’s nothing like a common enemy to carry a couple forward.

  4. Meanwhile, those old elephants have announced the finalists for the Republican National Hot Air Competition, it’ll be between Cleveland and Dallas. The loser having to host the RN(HA)C in 2016.

Why they couldn’t pick somewhere more fitting, like, oh, Barrow Alaska, I don’t know… I’d cheerfully chip in for the one-way tickets for the Texas delegation. I know, some towns would have to put up want-ads for a new village idiot…

I looked up “Boehner’s lawsuit”, didn’t include “idiot”. He’s against Obama using executive orders. Well, shoot, if Congress did its job, Obama wouldn’t have to do that. Reminds me of a passive aggressive three year old.

And a few more million of taxpayers dollars were just flushed down the congressional toilet.

I need to ask Bubba a legal question.

    Hey Bubba,

If John Boehner can sue President Obama for… oh hell, I don’t know, whatever he’s suing him for….can we sue John Boehner for incompetence? Ignorance? Laziness? Or drinking on the job? Or not controlling his Congresscritters? Or for using up all the sun for his tan?

If you come up with a plan, I’m in.

    Safe travels,

CA passed a resolution condemning Citizens United…I left a link lying around here somewhere, drat it! And it’s the end of June and it’s raining here in byootiful white-bread Brine-College -Station Texas, home of the Bush 41 library (as opposed to W’s “liberry”) and the Fightin Texas Aggies – lso I’m not in the middle of another endless drought. And McDaniel and the tea partiers are whining away, which affords much amusement; I don’t believe they have closed primaries in Mississippi that’s why Dems were important in this election…where’s THAT link now?!

It will be refreshing to read the platform that comes from the Texas Democratic Convention. Positive conversation about what needs to be done and ways to achieve those goals. Making government work for “we the people,” thank you to the Bankstons and the Texas Democratic Party!

My eyes are still spinning from reading the mish mash of nay the Republicants regurgitated.

Just found out the NRA has the 2nd Amendment posted in their HQ,minus the militia clause. I guess if part of an amendment interferes in your interpretation of reality, omit it.

  12. daChipster says:

Per HuffPost, Boehner has “officially announced his plans to introduce legislation in July that would authorize the House General Counsel to sue the Obama administration and ‘compel’ the president to fulfill his oath of office to enforce existing law.”

So, let me get this straight….

    1) the US House of Representatives under Speaker of the House Boehner is the most do-nothing Congress EVER.

    2) The President, by doing something, is making them look bad.

    3) So of all the legislation that they could have passed but didn’t, Boehner wants pass legislation to sue the Executive Branch…

    4) Which, being legislation, would have to pass the House AND the Senate AND be signed by…

    5) The President of the United States that Boehner wants to sue…

    6) Because he won’t enforce the laws that Congress doesn’t pass.

    7) This frivolous lawsuit will be completely and totally paid for by US American taxpayers, because the House General Counsel, the White House Counsel, the Attoney General of the United States, and every Federal judge who could possibly hear such a case up to and including the Supreme Court of the United States, and all the support personnel for everyone mentioned above are ALL PAID BY TAXPAYER DOLLARS.

All to make Sputterin’ Bill feel like a man. A relevant man. A manly man who can not only get reelected, but hang on to his Speakership.

    Bless his orange little heart.

daChipster, Boehner has Cheetos dust where his gray matter should be. Could start with self-serving whiny ____, then warm up to the topic. But a barking dog did a little sleep deprivation to me last night, so won’t waste the energy on Boehner, who by the way is making less sense than the barking dog.

Speaking of barking dogs, Michele Bachmann actually had her mic cut by Cavuto. Must have been squawking some seriously insane stuff like defund the Executive Branch for Cavuto to yank her mic. http://crooksandliars.com/2014/06/cavuto-gets-shouting-match-bachmann-over

  14. It takes a whole heap of stoooopid to even think of suing or impeaching a black president in an election cycle. But then, hey, consider the source . . .

    14
  15. Boehner is a shining wit. Excuse the spoonerism. (Stolen from a British politician because they’re better at clever snark than ours.)

maggie, Jindal’s “Party of Stupid” and the Priebus plan for ‘inclusiveness’ are blowing major holes through their tent. The clown car needs an emissions control test for septic st00pid.

Oh joy for sure, just when the GOPee ‘thought’ the electorate forgot the last government $24+ billion cost shut down, they lob up a reminder enhanced with another threat to do more of their same st00pid with another shutdown.

Michele Bachmann, the GOPee lightning rod of crazy red meats their base, while forgetting that President Obama is CIC. You go girl and cut off the funding to the Executive Branch (if you can find the seriously delusional numbers in Congress to follow you) and don’t be surprised to find your parking space occupied by military and EMTs ready to take you to Walter Reed for treatment.

If you’re using an iPhone, blame Apple, not Bill Gates, who copied everything good Apple did.
