On Suicide Watch, Epstein Commits Suicide – Sure…
Jeffrey Epstein, being held for trial in a jail in Manhattan was found dead in his cell this morning. Wait – what? I thought he was on suicide watch. At minimum, the guys doing the watching suck at their jobs. At worst this is just plain old stink to high heaven fishy. Part of Epstein’s record was released just yesterday revealing just how bad this guy was, even containing details of how young girls were recruited for him at Mara Lago. Yes, THAT Mara Lago.
It’s not unreasonable to believe that this was an, uhm…”assisted suicide” to get rid of him before the sordid details of his and Trump’s relationship spilled out all over the floor during his trial. Based on Trump’s 40 year reputation for loving young girls, it’s not a stretch to imagine Trump being right in the middle of Epstein’s activities.
Is this just another flare up in the Trumpster Fire that is the current infestation of the White House, or will this one matter? I’m not holding my breath.

Adam Klasfeld, a reporter for Courthouse News, wrote Saturday a legal expert told him Epstein’s death will likely make it difficult for Epstein’s high-profile friends to block any evidence found during a search of his home that incriminates them.
According to the expert, Epstein was the only person who could legally challenge the search warrant that authorized the review of his home; due to his death, “everything will be admissible against any other defendant without a possibility of a motion to suppress.” This would suggest others, like Maxwell, could be implicated in the crimes Epstein stood accused of, should evidence emerge that indicates wrongdoing.
Attorney Lisa Bloom, who represents many of Epstein victims, told NBC News Saturday that she and those she represents plan to continue their civil cases against Epstein’s estate: “Victims deserve to be made whole for the lifelong damage he caused. We’re just getting started.”

20According to the noon news, Jeffrey Epstein was back in his regular cell, and had been off suicide watch for some time–so it’s possible that he killed himself. I can see a man used to all the comforts money could buy not wanting to spend his remaining years in a jail cell, especially considering the new release of information concerning him. But I’m sure that a good many of his friends will sleep better tonight, knowing that he’s dead.

Friend of mine who used to work in psych in prisons says it sounds like Epstein lied his way off suicide watch so he could do this, and nothing will stop a determined suicide. There are some legal blogs being relatively optimistic that w/o Epstein to object some of those involved will go to trial and because they lack standing, they’ll face the full wrath of any implicating documents taken from Epstein’s house. So if Epstein died by his own hand, that would be encouraging as to how damaging those documents might be.
