Oklacorona! OK!

July 15, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Oklahoma Republican Governor Kevin Stitt (R) announced he has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Stitt, who is a close ally of President Trump’s, stood by the president’s decision to move ahead with his rally in Tulsa several weeks ago despite warnings from public health officials.

Remember the rally where all the seats were empty?

Oh well, still it was worth losing a butt-kissing Governor or two, right? There’s more where that one came from.

And, as science proves again, Trump’s rally was likely (Really? Likely?) a source of an outbreak.

Governor Stitt was encouraging people to go out and eat.  Even Trump said maybe that’s not a great idea.

  1. I still remember his tweet back in May sitting with his kids in a crowded restaurant grinning and mocking the idea of a lock down. You reap what you sow, Kevin.

Ooook-lahoma, where the infected came sneezing’ in my face

Wish I had N-95’s to protect my eyes

Can’t read it, behind a paywall or the site wants to look at what I’m doing!

  4. Many classic rockers have asked Trump to stop playing their music at his rallies. In light of Tulsa, I hope Phil Collins approves one of his hit songs as theme music for Trump supporters while they get seated and settled:

I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight? Oh Lord, oh Lord
Well, if you told me you were drowning, I would not lend a hand…

O-K-L-A-Covid19-H-O-M-A. No more living on Tulsa time, unless you attended the rally.

This idiocy will continue until some x-number of high-profile fools like Gov. Stitt suffer the same swift fate that many of their dumb followers like the Darwin Award winner below have.
Unfortunately, so far most of the Rethug movers and shakers have been too lucky to ‘win’ [pls let Individual 1 get a terminal case].

    A perfect Trumpidiot parrot:
“An Ohio Army vet who refused to wear a face mask because he didn’t want to buy into “that damn hype” died of coronavirus complications on the Fourth of July.

Richard Rose, 37, of Port Clinton, who served for nine years, including two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, died at his home, according to an online obituary.
Back on April 28, he posted that he was ignoring official recommendations to wear a face mask amid the deadly pandemic.
“Let [me] make this clear,” Rose wrote. “I’m not buying a f—ing mask. I’ve made it this far by not buying into that damn hype.” “

  7. Did he announce that he was positive with a Stitt-eating grin?

My brother and his immune-compromised wife moved to Tulsa last year to be nearer #2 son, grandkids and daughter-in-law who is a nurse. I really worry about them all.

  12. I have to say I will wish several weeks of ventilator hell on the Gov Stittwit before he recover.

  13. And speaking of…has anyone heard updates on Ben Carson? Since he hasn’t surfaced, I have a feeling he’s getting the full brunt of the virus.

Stitt says he’s still not even considering a mask order.

I’ll say a prayer. Done. I’m not a big prayer. Good luck.

At this point in the pandemic, any one who gets it from a large gathering, especially a Trump rally, deserves only derision about their decision.
