Merry Christmas from the Fast Track Women at the Beauty Salon!
Juanita and the staff will return after Christmas. Juanita has spent the week at the Semi Official Presidential Suite of Methodist Hospital Sugar Land. She expects to make a full recovery and will be back spitting and cussing by New Years.

My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.

31May you rest comfortably. May you sleep well whenever you damn-well please. May you eat whatever you damn-well please. May your grandson provide loads of hugs, kisses, and made up Christmas stories (or anything else he feels like talking about). And don’t doubt for a second that if any of these things aren’t completely doable right now, there are patrons from all over the country who are hoping that changes ASAP.

And not to worry. If anybody shows up wantin’ to get trollish, I’m fairly certain I’m not the only patron willing to brandish the hair-sweepin-up broom.:-)

32Due to a combined economic and computer problems in my life I didn’t know you were in the hospital until just now. You are a force for good so get well. I recommend William Powell and Myrna Loy movies and having people just wait on you hand and foot. And, Manhattans.

46Don’t get too attached to the hospital. After awhile you just love having good meals brought to you and someone else cleaning the room and changing the sheets. All you have to do is read dumb novels and work crossword puzzles. You hurry up and get well and enjoy all the friends and relatives who come to your house and bring food and help with cleaning and all that.
