Okay, so maybe it’s not dance-nakkid-on-the-backporch news, but it’s kinda nice.
Sadly, they still raised $98 million in contributions.
And while membership dues are way down, they still picked up $128 million in dues last year, yet down from $163 the year before.
Like I said, kinda good news.

NRA was trying to get into the death insurance business (Go ahead, shoot somebody, we got your back), and it hasn’t worked out well for them.
2Gotta wonder . . . with the unhappiness rife among the membership, is the majority of that money coming from gun companies?
3Probably from their backers in the Former USSR; why haven’t they registered as agents of a foreign power yet???
4No more free coffee for employees. That economy notwithstanding, they continue to spread the lie that guns will solve every problem. I call them the Murder Lobby.
5We need to have gun insurance like we have car insurance. Maybe then the insurance industry would do something.
6I won’t be happy until they have to hold a bake sale in order to publish their gun magazines and all of the executive board are unpaid volunteers.
