And while we’re here, I think the heat is taking its toll on Republican brains. Andy Biggs out in Arizona is making up stories without a pinkie of evidence that Joe Biden’s family is stealing the silverware off your table.
House Republican Andy Biggs (R-AZ) joined Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo on Tuesday and accused President Joe Biden and his family of potentially taking in over $100 million – a wild corruption accusation that blows past anything other GOP politicians have levied.
“Maria, we’re talking literally, it’s not $10 million. It’s it’s well over 20, $30 million. And some estimates as high as $100 million flowing through these accounts,” Biggs declared.
“Holy moly!” exclaimed Bartiromo as Biggs spoke.
Holy moly? Is that a journalism term I missed somewhere?

The tragedy of this whole situation is that the people of her Congressional District think she is the best person to make their lives better, which should be the primary purpose of government. Unfortunately the ‘basket full of deplorables’ seems to expand its contents on a daily basis.
8JeffA. I wouldn’t waste too many tears on ’em. In 1893, my grandpappy was a cotton broker in Dalton when there was a lynching. They still had Republican US attorneys in them days, and my granpa agreed to testify against the sheriff and others who led the attack.
He had to send his wife and one-year-old son away and spent the next 13 months sleeping with a loaded and cocked hogleg in his hand and a repeating rifle on the floor beside his bed.

I just listened elsewhere to MTG trying to make LBJ and Joe Biden sound like the two worst presidents, ever. I lived through LBJ’s tenure in office. Apparently, to Marge, LBJ’s Great Society was a vast socialist undertaking that Biden is trying to copy–pushing for equality, voting rights, ending poverty, reducing crime–dreadful, right? She made them both sound fantastic! That woman really is dumber than a bag of hair.
