Louie, Go Home. You’re Filiblubbering.

September 25, 2013 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Okay, so Louie thinks Obamacare is a tool of the devil.

And he’s got proof.

“People are already being told after the first of the year that you can’t get your pacemaker, you can’t have this, you can’t have that,” he explained. “People are waking up, this is not good.”

Louie!  Dammit!  Nobody is being told that — unless they’ve talked to you or Ted Cruz. The only people telling them that is you.

Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) questions U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in Washington“Because if you fire the Americans and hire the people that came in illegally, they get legal status under the Senate bill, then you don’t have to provide them Obamacare insurance or pay the fines,” he added. “So, maybe if the Senate got everything they wanted, both Obamacare and their amnesty bill, you’d have most Americans that work for big companies losing their jobs all over America.”

Louie!  Dammit!  That’s not what either bill says.  The only place it says that is in your butt, where your head is, so you can read it easily, with the glow of Saint Ted Cruz providing flickering light.

Y’all, maybe it was good that I was in Austin away from a computer and a teevee for the last few days.  I’m too old be be a headbanger.

Thanks to Stephanie and John.

  1. They’ve been proclaiming that “Reality is whatever we say it is” for so long that they’ve lost all ability to tell the difference between the real world and their own twisted conspiracy fantasies.

Head so far up it that he’s looking out of his mouth….

  2. I love the smell of desperation in the morning.

Last night, Ted Cruz talked incessantly for who cares how long about himself, about green eggs and ham, and then some more about himself. Which we regular Cruz watchers call, “Tuesday.”
Then Louie weighs in today with his gem about Affordable Health Care keeping you one electronic implant away from a death panel.

I love the smell of desperation in the morning.

Oh good grief Rhea! I just had an image of Leto the God worm (Frank Hebert y’all – Dune) with Louie’s face! Bet John K the artist can mock one up for us!

I spent an hour today talking with one of my nice clients. He worked for Purina and possibly Ag Extension, so he is definitely not a liberal! However, he IS nice and he is not a fool. After a somewhat protracted discussion, I got him to agree to go to http://www.healthcare.gov and SEE FOR HIMSELF what the dang deal was. As I was gently debunking the myths, he was watching me closely – then he demanded to know why no one was explaining this deal in plain language?! So I told him the truth: the Republican power-structure and money people DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW about this, or like it. They just want you to hate it, fight about it and rail against it! And then I reminded him that it is actually a Republican version of healthcare reform and it is in place in MA if he wants to know more. Since he has a son who has multiple myeloma (?) he is very interested for his son’s sake; I told him that his son was the sort of person who would benefit most from this deal.

    Sigh. One at a time!

  4. Sorry Louie, I just got my letter from the Texas High Risk Pool where it tells me that as of Dec 31 they will no longer be in business and
“your new coverage, whether purchased through healthcare.gov or directly from the private insurance market, will provide MORE benefits than you currently have and, in most cases at a LOWER COST. Under health insurance reform, you CANNOT be charged a higher premium rate based on your health status.”
    Straight from the horse’s mouth!

Naw, JJ…you can NEVER be too old to be a headbanger. However, you CAN be too old to pull it off well. I’m not the cute young thing I used to be, but I can still howl at the moon. As long as I get home by 10:00.

We need to give rethuglicans back some of their own logic like if the ACA is inevitable, relax and enjoy it. You won’t get pregnant from legitimate ACA. If you practice safe ACA you won’t ever need an abortion.

  7. e platypus onion, I was laughing so hard at your post that I just spilt my drink, dammit. You are spot on. Can’t wait until the naysayers start to like the ACA. And Louie, put your money where your mouth is. If you’re sincere, please volutarily give up your taxpayer funded health care.

Defund screwy Louie, defund Cruz,in fact defund all rethuglicans and tea baggers immediately.

  9. My son got a letter from his private health care carrier warning him to hang on to his present coverage inasmuch as the ACA will be more expensive. Really???????????? How the bleep do they know? Are they psychic? His present policy rarely ever kicks in on anything and runs $500/mo. I am helping him pay for that while he searches for a job. No easy thing as I am a widow on super tight finances.
Moreover, their left hand has no working knowledge of the right. He gets very strange letters about reviewing his claims, etc. Frankly, we think they are trying to scare him off ever going to a doctor or a dentist or whatever health care provider. We can’t wait to talk to a genuine ACA person/health care exchange. This private insurance is literally killing us.

I so love waking up in the morning, and spitting coffee on my desktop. “the only place that says that is in your butt, where your head is, so you can read it easily, by the flickering light of Saint Ted Cruz”…. LMFAO

  11. Maggie, I hope you can get to the bottom of this, I think someone is lying to you, and there should be someone who can give you the truth, or go on line to (I think) Healthcare.gov.

  12. Joan, we’ve been fighting with this company darn near constantly. They are unaccessible by phone, e-mail, fax and carrier pigeon. What we want is a summary of how much they have covered under the policy and how much has been denied. Its a total no go with them. This is the second carrier we’ve had for him. Blue Cross was just as bad and maybe even worse. When we had a problem all our phone calls to Blue Cross of the Metropolitan D.C. area went to . . . get ready for it . . . California.

So now you begin to understand why nutters wear pointed tinfoil hats. It facilitates insertion of their heads back to their brain base in their rectum. Once the doorway is plugged by their shoulders,it shuts off any oxygen input to the nutjobs numero uno vestigial organ-their brains.

  14. The Repug stategery(Dubya’s word) has been to mislead and misinform, creating fear and confusion. Loved the TV spot during the 2008 presidential campaign, when John McCain had to reassure a frightened senior citizen that Barack Hussein Obama was not a terrorist, but a good man. The fear and misinformation campaign came back to haunt him in a very public way.
