Just So You Know
Senator Ted Cruz representing the formerly Great State of Texas is totally up in arms about your children being mandated to wear a mask at school.
His daughters attend a ritzy private school in Houston and … oh, I don’t even need to finish that sentence before you start cringing.
Of course, they mandate masks. This is the same school where parents were warned about international travel prior to spring break and they were not real happy about his daughters and Cancun. They asked them to isolate for ten days when they returned.

I’m proud to let you know that my own personal county judge has filed a lawsuit against Governor Abbott’s cockamamie idea that he can control county government and schools with the wave of his hand.
But I’m not finished with Ted Cruz. That hairy chunky guy with the enormous patootie totally shut down the voting rights bill.
There will not be a debate or any discussion because he’s that scared of reason, logic, and facts. Honey, he’s stirring the fire with a sword and it’s gonna take some doing to get a consensus on anything with that kind of crap happening.
Of course, other people’s kids can be sacrificed on the altar of Trump, just not HIS kids.

3What I wish elementary schools would do is designate one classroom in each grade to be the “masked” class, which parents can opt their children into. And have a teacher that is vaccinated teach that class. It would be a way around our idiot governor but keep the kids safer whose parents are totally stupid.
4Good idea about classrooms designated masked/vaccinated and others open to spreading covid. I’d suggest one classroom open to spreading covid and the remainder for masked and vaccinated kids. That would give space for distancing to kids of responsible parents. I guess the others don’t care (at least their parents) so distancing not necessary.
5And no mingling at lunchtime, recess or busses.
Rafael will probably throw his daughters under the bus, the way he did in the winter claiming that they insisted on going to Cancun. He’ll say that they told him he had to send them to this private school, and what can you do when your pre-teen daughters demand something?
Gawd, to think that Texas could have had Beto O’Rourke instead of this creep. And you can’t blame gerrymandering either – Federal Senator is a state-wide office.
