My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Thank you–I didn’t know–but I thought just this morning I needed to call Marcia who does my hair (even though she is a Republican–scary how she votes against her own interests-she needs health care help, etc.) because it’s time to do my hair…

Well, darn, guess I’ll have to give my granddaughter another present since she does my nails (hands and feet). I just gave her a birthday check, am providing the veil for her wedding, and will give her a check as a wedding gift. However, she is my only granddaughter so I don’t mind giving another gift.
Since I don’t live close to the WMDBS, I do my own hair, including coloring and cutting. The last three times I went to a stylist I was very disappointed and my friends laughed and asked what happened. Now I don’t want to go through that again, and, besides, I do get compliments on my hair quite frequently.
Juanita Jean, please don’t get upset with me over this as I know you would do a fine job, but distance is a problem.
