Just In Case You Haven’t Had Enough Trump Chaos

December 30, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

How about going wilding with Donald Trump?

“Statistically impossible to have lost the 2020 Election,” Trump tweeted on Saturday. “Big protest in DC on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!”

Okay, so you get together the Q-anoners, the Proud Boys, the Trumpers, the White Supremacist, and every swashbuckeling Boogaloo Boy on the planet and you think it won’t be wild, but plenty crazy? Yeah, me too.

Olivia Troye, a former top aide to Mike Pence, believes that Trump is inciting violence on January 6th.  Yeah, me too.

Trump, of course, won’t be there. He’ll be in Florida still screaming and pouting about the new interior decorating.

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

Be social and share!

Melania and Baron better head for the hills. Once DT is dethroned for good, he’ll be all about controlling them.

And now it’s guaranteed to be a long day with MO senator clown, josh hawley, officially declaring he will oppose Biden EC votes from PA. That will be the 3rd repugnantican nutjob saying they’ll oppose Biden votes. That will mean the Qers, proud boys, Trumpfers, white supremacists, kkk, nazis and other delusional clowns will be marching around hiding their guns for at least 10 hours. Who knows what’ll happen when the congressional circus is finally over.
Still waiting to see what moscow mitch and momma’s boy pence have to say as leaders of the senate gop zoo.
If there’s violence, on 1/21, Trumpf needs to be arrested.

  3. Well, no, I have had more than enough Trump chaos. He is just a monster. I think we can all assume the Jan. 6 activity will result in chaos, violence, dead and injured people. Just how Trump likes it. In the meantime, now jackass Missouri senator Hawley has decided to challenge the certification of electoral votes. The thoughts that have run through my head are not godly and I should be ashamed, but WTH is WRONG with these people????

I’m convinced the repugnanticans in congress fall into 2 camps- they’re either as deranged as Trumpf or just using this as a last gasp effort to appeal to the Trumpf cultist base for future campaigns.
    In either case, they’re repugnant.

  5. With the shift of just a few thousand votes in the swing states, we could have been in for four more years of this demented WATB.

There’s a reason most of the buildings that were boarded up this summer are still boarded up. I expect even more will do so before the laughably named “Proud Boys” show up. They won’t be staying at the Hotel Harrington this time, though. I just hope there won’t be counter-protesters this time. Just let them have the empty streets and let the MPD handle them.

  6. My $600 gubmint dinero showed up in my account, doubt that that extra $1400 ever will. To tRumpff, it’s just a bribe attempt that he’s lost interest in. To Moscow Mitch and most of the Rethugs, it’s just a grandstanding opportunity.

In other nooz– Apparently that Nashville bomber was linked to Q-Anon and other RWNJ causes. Possibly even the whacky ‘5G cellular will killz you’ theory.
Which probably accounts for his choice of the AT&T/BellSouth telecommunications building as his RV bomb target. It is a very major switching and transport center, 7 DS switches, a massive 4E switch, cellular switches, gigantic fiber junction, etc. He seems to have known which part of the very large building to hit [the power systems] in order to do the most damage possible with what he had to work with too.

  7. Elizabeth Moon says:

Sandridge: The Nashville bomber was white. Clearly the reason that despite his girlfriend reporting to police that he was building bombs in his RV, and had a huge gun collection…nothing was done. Oh, they went to his house. He didn’t answer the doorbell, and his RV was “behind a fence” so they couldn’t see into it, and they didn’t have a search warrant, so they went away.

How long do you think it would’ve taken them to invade his privacy if he’d been Black? Or brown, or Muslim?

They told their supervisor they didn’t see anything, and the super did nothing but ask the FBI if the FBI had anything on him. FBI, hearing about a *white* guy whose girlfriend knew he was making bombs, looked at their database and didn’t find him. Nope, nothing here to see.

Angry white guys have been the majority if mass shooters and bomb makers…but the PD and FBI shrugged and let it go. I think there are decision makers in the Nashville PD and the FBI who should be out of a job.

  8. Elizabeth Moon @7, Agree 100%, but it is all of US LE that has this white-tinted colorblind problem.

On the other hand, –all– of our rights and freedoms have been seriously compromised since the relatively minor 9/11 incident and all the subsequent ‘Patriot Act’ bullshit. I’ve read of many harmful LEO raids on innocent citizens due to PatAct or the so-called ‘War or Drugs’ idiocy. Don’t need even more of that.
I used to have to travel about down in the Valley at 0’dark-thirty times a lot for work, and got stopped and often searched many times. Let alone when leaving or entering the Valley, at or away from the established BP checkpoints at Sarita and Falfurrias. Heh, I knew and played cards with Valley BP, LEOs, judges and politicians: most had [illegal?] maids at home [from Mexico and elsewhere]… of course maids, gardeners, etc., were just a perk of living in the Valley if you had a good income.

The “Nashville Bomber” wanted to be considered “famous” and “remembered,” according to what I’ve read.

So, unless there is some professional reason to remember him, may I encourage you to NOT know his name, know as little as possible about him, and recall only the stereotype: male, white, early 60s, apparently unloved, gun happy, and mean enough to kill his dog.

  10. Grandma Ada says:

Statistically, it’s impossible that Cornyn won re-election because I REALLY wanted anyone but him, however . . . This zombie party, that calls itself the GOP will soon start eating themselves and go into a period of intra-party conflict. Maybe those left will go back to the Whig party.

  11. Food for thought. Talk about Martial law is still in the water supply. The wad (WAnnabe Dictator*) is actively, openly encouraging armed fanatical right wing militias to decend on D.C. the day Congress certifies the election in favor of Biden. The Governor of any state in the Union and 3 territories could call up the National Guard in preparation for expected rioting for that kinda thing in their state or territory.
But D.C. has no Governor. The Mayor could request it. But who has the authority to make it happen?
    Yep.
    Donald. F**king. Trump.
    The wad*.
    And no one but him.
Hmmm. I wonder when he might take that request seriously?
Before or after the violence starts?
    If after, then what?
    Curiouser and curiouser.

  12. Now Orange45 says he’s not staying for the NYE SuperSpreader event at Mara-Bungo, that he’s heading back to DC. What’s he going to do? I’m worried what other messes he’s going to make before 1/20/21 at noon. As for the mayhem next Wednesday, is Mayor Bowser able to call out the National Guard? Or would the Pentagon send out some troops to protect DC residents and property?

    12
  13. Hannah@12

I don’t know what messes he’ll make before 1/20/21 at noon, but I hope the state of NY has indictments to announce immediately after.

  14. Speaking of anything to prevent or contain violence in D.C. on Electoral College Day or even Inaugural Day, it is only natural to first think of the military in some way, but did you all know that D.C. has a surfeit of different police departments? There is the Metro which is the city version. then there is the Capitol Hill police, then the “police” stationed at places like the State Department, etc., and because DC is actually a huge military garrison, the Military Police. I think I got them all but if anyone knows of any such force that I have forgotten, let me know.

  15. Maggie @ 14:
Thanks. I know I’m pessimistic, but the situation seems unprecedented to me. What with trump being the person supposedly ultimately responsible for civilian order and peace, also being the guy setting the stage for violent civil unrest.
    On that day.

    15
  16. Elizabeth Moon says:

P.P.: Yes, it’s unprecedented. And dangerous. One of the things we need to accomplish to make this sort of situation less likely is giving D.C. more power of self-governance. If Virginia and Maryland were not so GOPped, they could do a lot to help, but fat chance they will. (Checking out of state cars at their borders for weapons and obvious troublemakers, for instance.)

As it is we’ll just have to see what happens. I know how I’d approach limiting the damage, but I’m not in charge. They’d want my head on a platter, too, but a lot less damage, personal and public would be done. Most vets could do the same thing–you learn to look at locations with “How would I defend/attack that if X happened) and since I was there during demonstrations (‘Nam era) I caught on fast.

I don’t think D.C. has the power to make and enforce the emergency rules they’d need. It’s intentionally at open city in many ways, even with all the extra security they have now. Soace between things etc. The last time I was there, for the National Book Fair, I was staying across Lafayette Park from the WH (my publisher sent me…and boy was that a fancy place!) and walked back and forth to the event site and around places I’d been decades before. Went to church at the little church Trump used as a photo-op, which is why I was in a rage at that stunt.

  17. I have lived in DC and have had some contact with local cops. They are famed neither for tolerance of tomfoolery nor for having senses of humor.

I would strongly advise anyone thinking of a counter protest to stay the hell away. Let them concentrate on the real troublemakers.
