Jan. 6 Text Messages Reveal Trump Jr’s Place in the Pecking Order

December 14, 2021 By: Jet Harris Category: Domestic Terrorists, Insurrection

On January 6, Donald Trump, Jr. sent an urgent text to his dad’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows.

From the Washington Post:

Trump Jr. to Meadows: “He’s got to condemn this … ASAP. The Capitol Police tweet is not enough.”

Of course, it isn’t the substance of the text message that is revealing – it’s that Donald Trump Jr. has to go through Mark Meadows to talk to his own father.

That’s really something, isn’t it?

  1. Well, then again trump never said anything about how if Jr. weren’t his son…..
Which might splain why Ivanka apparently made it in to talk to him at least twice that day.

  2. That has to burn. Dimwit Jr. Mint had Meadows as a go between while Stephan Miller had a special place under the desk in the Oval Office. Just wow. Considering ALL the morons surrounding the ***king moron**, Junior failed to make the cut …

  3. Holidays with the Trump family.
“Would anyone else like an extra helping of disrespect?”

The kids know how they rate at Christmas by the number of lumps of coal in their stockings. Except Ivanka, her coal is a diamond, and the others are told it’s basically the same thing.

I’d almost feel sorry for Junior, if he weren’t such a toxic moron. He no more has his father’s affection, much less love, than Donnie, Sr. had from his own father.

    5
  5. I wouldn’t talk to him if he was my son, either.

I think cousin Mary Trump is right. She said that Don Jr. didn’t call his father because he’s a coward, and he was scared to tell his father something he didn’t want to hear. So he was asking Meadows to do it.

Junior had a momentary lapse of…judgement, I guess. He’s since praised the insurrectionists, so don’t worry, he’s still the despicable person we’ve known all along. Of course senior knows he’s basically an idiot that he doesn’t listen to, much like himself. The apples didn’t fall far from the orange tree.

  8. No question why Jr. is such a mess with a dad like that.

Now they seem to be squirming. From https://news.yahoo.com/eric-trump-says-werent-smart-221042150.html

In an upcoming interview, Eric Trump says that his family was too politically inexperienced and naive to be capable of what critics have accused the Trumps of in the past. “We weren’t smart enough to collude with Russia,” he said. Eric also recalled asking a campaign staffer what a caucus was on the day of the Iowa caucuses.

Over the past 5 years, I had to keep asking about the spawn of Frump “wait, which one is the dumb one?”. Now I know.

Surly Professor- I think it is true that they’re not smart enough, like Forrest Gump. Good defense if they were ever held accountable. They weren’t. Same with the Jan 6 insurrection- I fear they won’t be held accountable. The deal is, they had devious co-conspirators like Steve Bannon that absolutely were. Treason in full view with no consequences. F..k

The Surly Professor @8, please do enlighten us. While Uday and Qusay Drumpf are dumber than a bag of wet hair, Princess Sparkletwat and her criming hubby Jughead Kushner don’t exactly speak to anything smarter than dog dump dumb.

If only Donnie** had a dog maybe we could compare its intelligence to Millie Bush who was by several metrics smarter than any Bush.

  12. Nick Carraway says:

I think the bigger problem is that they were so ineffective that people just don’t take them seriously enough. They are the town drunk that photocopies a 20 and tries to pass them off as real cash. They’re just a drunk right? Just pat them on the head and move on right? Except they keep trying.

    13
  13. Surprised? No, not at all. Both of those boys are wandering village idiots and Ivanka isn’t that much brighter. She just moves faster and gets out of the way quicker.

    14
  14. Easy for me to glom on to family friction between dad, Greaseball, and maybe Prairie Dog. But Occam’s Razor suggests that dad already had his hands full at that moment.

Putin isn’t in this game to have partners. He used drumpf just like drumpf uses everybody he deals with. There was all kinds of collusion.,Just because drumpf’s aren’t smart enough to, understand what they were doing, they WERE doing it.

Ms Juanita Jean and son Mark are getting a wee bit of love over at yer Wonkette, in the Alex jones article.

Chuck Connors to Dad Burl Ives in the western “The Big Country” (all star cast), “You want me, Pa?” “Before you was born I did.” Owtch!

Sr and Jr drumpf to a T.

What e platypus onion @ #16 wrote. Maybe they weren’t smart enough to understand the implications of what they were doing, but they did it. Putin must be grinning from ear to ear.
