It’s Up to YOU!

July 16, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Guys, I need to take some time off this afternoon.  All’s well and good, but I’m getting to do something Covid-safe this afternoon.

So, I’ll be gone from the beauty shop.  Two things: what one thing did Trump do that pissed you off the most? And, what’s in the news lately that you’re paying attention to?

See ya later —

He* failed to make a frameable copy of his* obituary available to all who desire to commemorate the only decent thing he* with his* life.

  3. Bob Boland says:

I have to partly disagree with P.P. First Pence has to be removed from office (don’t really care how, although him doing a Spiro Agnew would certainly be delightful), THEN Drumpf can quit breathing and Nancy Pelosi can become President.
The consternation this would cause in the current administration would be more entertaining than any TV show, current or past.

Supreme Court Fluster Cluck? What did you just do?

Glass half full / half empty scenario. Who will make that argument?
What about a president with dementia and a tally of 140,000 deaths? Assaults on protestors for a lousy photo op? Conspiring with Putin over paid bounties on US troops? Consigning millions without unemployment to homelessness ? ACLU of Indiana

  5. Scary….Moved covid data collection to an expensive private entity. Hope our states keep offering data to the citizens as we cannot trust the Orange f…er and co.
Pisses me off…..He keeps breathing…I wonder if he knows how many people look for his obit, every.damned.day

  6. Sam in Superior says:

The most egregious event this morning is GA Governor/suckup Brian Kemp banning mask regulations as his state burns up with COVID.

  7. Deb in Alabama says:

There are so many of them. It started with him stalking Hillary on stage during the debate and it hasn’t gotten any better since. Thinking of that night still gets me in a hissy fit. Then there is the arrogance and all the lies. The night after he bunkered down, when he gassed the peaceful protestors so that he could get footage for a campaign commercial holding a bible. The way he is trying to force people to endanger their kids and families by sending them into schools.. All the deaths that he is directly responsible for.. It just goes on and on. Please, make it stop!

  8. Trump using the Resolute desk to hawk beans. What’s next? Trump steaks?

Right now I’m appalled that important Covid-19 information has disappeared from the CDC website. As Charles P. Pierce says, “the administration* took the unconscionable step of demanding that hospitals bypass the CDC and send their data to a “central database” rumored to be the back pocket of a pair of khakis hanging on a hook in Jared Kushner’s bathroom.”

    8
  9. Joyce, I’m with you. We know GOP loves them some power and fortune, but when is enough enough?

    10
  10. TexasTrailerParkTrash @ 6,

I’m hoping the hospitals will fight back and give him something he thinks is data.

I think this whole thing has the stench of Steven Miller all over it.

  11. Steve from Beaverton says:

It’s early so I’m sure there’ll be more despicable stuff coming.
Yesterday Trumpf went to Atlanta to purposely go against Mayor Bottom ‘s mask declaration. Then Governor Brian Trump Kemp kissed his orange ass prohibiting mask orders in his fine state. Those that voted for Kemp and his hero Trumpf deserve what they get- sick. It’s tragic for everyone else.
I’m following the Trumpf administration’s blackmail of states to reopen schools during this pandemic with no plan (remember Pence saying CDC guidelines should not keep schools from opening). Expect states and areas (like Orange Couny, CA) to face dire consequences and deaths as a direct result. I’m hoping by Election Day, Trumpf, Pence, Devos and Kudlow visit Walter Reed again, this time donning ventilators instead masks.

    12
  12. Steve from Beaverton says:

Ok, here’s something else that really fits Trumpf. Hires a new campaign manager that was fired by Chris Christie for his part in bridgegate. Bill Stepien should fit right in with his experience in government corruption.

  14. More than anything Trump has done, I’m pissed at those who have enabled him and allowed him to stay in office. GOP values are simply greed and intolerance, whereas Trump is mentally ill.

  17. Bruce H Ward, thanks! Always good to hear from the Lincoln Project!

  26. I had lunch with friends today. Outside.
First time I have eaten out since mid Feb.
We worked together in an elementary school.
And if we had had a drink….
We would have toasted the fact that we have all retired!.

    For getting pseudo-elected.

Oh, wait. I’m p-o’d at Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton, Franklin, Madison, Jay, the list goes on, for not trusting the people to elect their own president.

And at every congress since for not rectifying the situation.

Thank you, founders, for giving us Trump and destroying the country.

  29. GREAT DISCUSSION! All I am hearing in the tight little world around me is that there are educated people – mind you, I said educated – who think of schools as baby sitting programs so parents can go to work and keep the economy great. They insist that all those parents who absolutely must go back to work will save the economy. Get that? Economy comes first last and always. The kids just have to take their chances of surviving. Cold blooded to the max.

    30
  30. Worst thing? How about camouflage-clad, unidentified troops showing up on the streets of Portland–against the wishes of the governor and mayor–detaining people, using tear gas on peaceful protestors (tear gas is not legal there), and now they have shot a protestor in the head.

Acting HHS Secretary now categorizing graffiti as “violent crime.”

    Rehearsal for martial law.

    31
  31. Steve from Beaverton says:

Living just west of Portland, I agree. The word that comes to my mind is gestapo. It’s a Trumpf power play and message to his cult. Another campaign move because he has no other leadership skills. What it’s actually doing is inflaming the situation.
Wonder what else he’ll start using them for- voter intimidation?
Also, the association of police associations (or whatever they’re called) came out to endorse Trumpf yesterday. How hypocritical is that- supporting the most corrupt, untruthful person to ever inhabit the White House?

    32
  32. Jere Armen says:

Forcibly separating families and housing the kids in cages, with no accounting for them and no plan to reunite families. And no idea how many are in US custody.
This is a crime against humanity.
