Okay, Guys, I think whoever did this has a goal of creating chaos at election time.
Second, for Donald Trump to say we need to unify as if bullyism and threats of violence are being caused by both sides, is insane. When you create a social structure based on threats of violence and hate, then you encourage this kind of stuff.
And, by the way, this kind of stuff is terrorism.

A President would have said ” I know I may shout at others and may become to animated but…I want everyone to stop for a moment and be more civil” The again there are people who still believe in ghosts and angels! trump will never say he was wrong or did anything wrong, his statement did nothing to stop these scare tactics he is using . People are afraid that is all and wrongly follow this bully.

4I saw where Jeff Flake said both sides need to tone down the rhetoric. If you look in the NSGOP book of phrases that make you sound concerned without really being concerned, you’ll find “both sides” just in front of “thoughts and prayers”.
5Maybe this is the “October Surprise” a lot of us were expecting? We figured something was going to happen to stir up the electorate before November 6. If so, it seems to have been botched. Putting the return address of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz on all the packages seems a bit heavy-handed, and none of them have exploded. So there’s no need for martial law, no cancelling the election while everything is investigated, no matter how many right-wing nutjobs insist that it’s some sort of false-flag operation and blame George Soros. Not that George Soros doesn’t get blamed for everything the Right doesn’t like. Sorry, Donnie, there’s no panic for you to use to your advantage.

7I don’t think the person doing this is strategically acting to cause chaos at election time.
I think the person is riled up by the increased hype happening now and is acting to attack Trump’s “boogeymen”–I’m only surprised that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Shumar have not received any packages yet.
The perpetrator may feel a more direct action against the anti-Trump faction is required because they are going to “steal the election.”
So I cannot credit them with enough real intelligence to be strategic on the chaos consequences–just reactive.

It has been said that you’re not big on either reading or history, Tiny. But you might want to check out how martial law worked for Marcos, who was considerably more liked and decent than you.
10The whole build up of drama along with a few compliant pollsters the thuglicans can. and will, use as an explanation of how the voters changed their minds and swept the thugs back into office after crooked SoS’s (i.e. kobach, kemp) and rigged voting machines deliver us into another dark ages of ignorance, bigotry, oppression and disease ( science bad – delusions good ) of thuglican rule.

It has been pointed out that these bombs were not delivered by the PO or any other delivery company. One was delivered by a courier service. Considering the fact the bombs (and white powder) were hand delivered to NY, DC and in California…it is not one person putting things in the mail…it’s seems too obvious that it’s a coordinated multi-person effort in three states, so far.

A Capitol Police source tells CNN that the Capitol Heights, Maryland facility, where a suspicious package was intercepted, processes mail for members of the House. Two sources tell CNN that Maxine Waters was the recipient of the package.
Packages to Soros, Obamas, Clintons, Brennan c/o CNN, & Holder, etal. — these devices, per law enforcement sources, were functional. Meaning the intent here was mass murder.

17This was a topic at the office today. Agreed: whoever is doing this is big on coordination and planning BUT is he/she actually the one building the bombs? We also agreed that there is more than one individual involved here. And somebody has a very, very accurate USPS postal scale. Cannot imagine anyone toting those packages into a local post office for weighing. I am also betting 10 to 1 that each package was sent via a different post office. No batching. Bunches of them dropped off at the same post office would have been a red flag.

20Maggie, I weigh postal items on my kitchen scale- down to the gram. And the USPS obligingly makes it so easy to ship without actually visiting the post office.
21Bottom line, the DOJ and LE need to rein in the whack-a-bird loons emboldened by Donnie. And, the media needs to get on this and report who in the Senate (‘itch McConnell) and culprits in the House who restricted LE from tracking home grown terrorists. This is not new. Ask the SPLC, they’ve been tracking these haters for years.

Hair Furor has been refusing to ditch his insecure phone because he can’t/won’t transfer his Contacts to a new one.
