Not often the praying kind, but right now I’d put a holy roller to shame on RBG’s behalf.

    Omg.
    That’s all.
    Omg.
    What do we do now?

My prayers are with RBG, and I’m not ordinarily the praying kind. But her age won’t be helpful in this situation. Please, may she not get pneumonia.

And I’m saving some prayers for the rest of us, as well. THIS is why we needed to win the Senate two nights ago.

  4. I got a church full of Unitarian Universalists lighting candles and sending energy. Hang in there, RBG!

  5. This is one tough person! She regularly does strengthening exercises. My money – and prayers – are on her recovery. And the Golden Gibbon should not – but probably will – reread his short list of SCOTUS picks.

  7. Jane & PKM says:

Our quick healing thoughts to Justice Notorious RBG. There’s a small amount of indignity involved with most falls, and we certainly hope Justice Ginsburg does not chuckle too much in the next few days knowing she escaped the greater indignity of Kavvie’s day of meet & greet scheduled for today.

  8. Prayers for RBG for a speedy recovery.

Prayers for all the victims of mass shootings, their families, and communities…

  9. That Other Jean says:

Nooooooooo! Heal quickly, Justice Ginsburg! We need you. Prayers, good wishes, and profound hopes for a short, uncomplicated, boring recovery time, until you’re back at your post on the Supreme Court.

  10. Charles R Phillips says:

From Maddowblog: * I know some folks who’d probably donate their ribs to her: “Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been hospitalized for three fractured ribs after she fell in her office at the Supreme Court Wednesday night. Ginsburg, 85, went home after the fall, but then went to George Washington University Hospital on Thursday morning after experiencing discomfort. Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and was admitted to the hospital for observation and treatment.”

  12. Philip Youngman says:

Very best wishes to RBG for a rapid, full recovery. And continued good health through 2020 and beyond. Just kidding, of course. RBG is a treasure, and I wish her the longest, happiest life ever.

    Prayers? Seriously? (not kidding).
