Hurry Up, Mueller

October 10, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

The Brookings Institute is way ahead of you.

“Our review of the facts and the law leads us to the view that the president likely obstructed justice. Should that conclusion be borne out, we believe he will be held to account under one or another of the vehicles we have outlined, for no one is above the law in our system.”

Everybody I know has sent me this link so I spent most of the morning reading it and asking lawyerly questions to lawyers I know.

It is well worth a read.  There is certainly enough evidence for an indictment now.

Y’all, I am scared of this guy.

Be social and share!

  1. I’m afraid of the Republicans that will not do anything about Trump.
Who make excuses for the in excusable tweets, speeches and nepotism that is the Trump administration.
    Deplorable!

  2. Charles R Phillips says:

I’m afraid that the military aide who carries the “football” won’t prevent him from launching a mindless, ego-driven WWIII.

  3. Regardless of what he’s done, the GOP Congress isn’t going to do a damn thing unless he starts bringing down their re-election chances. The only thing that might help is a wave of Dems elected in 2018, especially if we regain the majority in both houses. I’m not holding my breath for that, but if he goes any further off the rails, it might just happen. And if we GET OUT THE VOTE!

  4. JJ, you can probably hold off being scared for a little while yet. If everyone you know sent the story, you can be sure no one Trump knows would dare let him see it.

In the meantime, Mueller is probably methodically crossing his t’s and dotting the u’s with umlauts.

  5. Although I believe CJ did obstruct justice, it was through a combination of ignorance, hubris, and lack of intelligence.

His existence has never been dependent upon him being correct.

I despise him and any who support him in any manner.

  6. Our only hope is NY and NJ will bring charges too, so the moron will not be able to pardon himself.
And the rest of the Trump cabal would be icing on the cake!

  7. Ted, I can well remember being taught that ignorance of the law is no excuse. Now I am determined to live long enough to see this one through to conclusion!

  8. I’m not so much concerned about the Narcissist-in-Chief as I am regarding his rabid, insane followers. There is a strong possibility of blood in the streets. Dangerous times. I’m thinking of purchasing an AR-15 just to protect myself from the nuts (not really!). I fired a M-16 in basic training, so the learning curve shouldn’t be too steep.

I’ve had a very strong dislike for some previous presidents. But I downright hate traitors trump, Pense and the rest of their immoral, corrupt administration. They all need to be tried, convicted and sent to a Federal SHU. there those evil people would be denied human company 23 hrs per diem. They do not deserve any compassion. Frankly, I’d like to see them all, especially morbidly obese trump, on bread & water for months. For those who may not know, that punishment wasn’t meant to be dietary. That diet caused excruciating constipation that
    could cause ruptures.

  10. Yes, he can probably be indicted for Obstruction now, but when a prosecutor seeks and publishes an indictment, it should be the best available, given a specific set of facts. And remember, a primary witness will be the Attorney General who still works for the Trumpster.

Knowing Trump the way we know Trump I can see where that set of facts is very large, and the Special Prosecutor may still be picking and choosing.

When you go after him, make sure you got him by the p*##%.
