How He Does It
ProPublica is on the case, digging in on Trump’s personal self enrichment using his own resorts to reap millions in government money and stuff in his own pockets full of American taxpayer cash. One textbook example of how he does it is described in detail, and it goes like this: Trump and his merry band of criminals descend on Mara Lago for the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping in April 2017. Late in the evening of the state dinner (profits to Donald Trump), Steve Bannon and unknown number of his cronies take over the posh Library Bar in the resort, order the bartender out and post the Secret Service at the door. In the ensuing hours, they consume 54 premium cocktails (self served) while the agents block the door from entry, including the bartender himself. The bill, totaling over $1,000 (with the service charge) was later toted up and sent to the State Department which it refused to pay. It was forwarded to the White House, which, of course approved the bill without question, writing the check, taxpayers paying the bill.
The article goes on the describe how the Trump administration has lifted the caps on hotel bills at Trump resorts, allowing trump to profit, selling rooms to the government for $500 dollars a night and more.
Trump is nothing more than a mobster, stealing money from Americans while 42% of them cheer him on in his criminality. The corruption is jaw dropping, while his sycophants look wide-eyed saying “What? You were serious about that?”
Profits, profits, profits.
1Without paying taxes.
Never was a big fan of zero tolerance or 3 strikes laws but if applied in proper sphere it is becoming appealing.
2The precinct house, licenseing boards and the corporate board rooms are the proper venues for these laws.
Legally corporations are considere to be “people” in legal delusion that dominates our courts.
If corporations are “people” they should have to face similiar consequences for their bad acts.
If corporation has 3 or more criminal complaints ( i.e. fraud, tax evasion, environmental violations, stock manipulations etc) it loses its corporate charter and all board members nd executives are banned fom any position of trust. No bonding or insurance for them in corporate realm again.
Plus board members and executives lose whatever license they may have whether it was relevent to their positions or not. A member of the board who also has a law license loses it.
Police reports are considered sworn statements and any false or misleading reports is treated as perjury and/or fraud and are prosecuted immediately. No plea deals. No retirements to short circuit prosecution (i.e. demented donnies judge sister who retired to stop investigation of tax fraud) Zero tolerance for police, prosecutorial or judicial misconduct.
Falsify permit application ( building, gaming etc) and you not only are turned down but you are banned from refiling for new permit for at least 10 years plus any professional licenses are yanked. Archetects, plumbers. electricians, engineers – whatever. They work on illegal project they are complicit in the crime.
Demented donnie is the result of allowing white collar criminals to flaunt the law, regulations, taxes etc.
Wait a minute, wait a dang minute. They drink a $1000+ worth of booze on our dime but serve superior athletes junk food.
Oh never mind, of course they do.
Nasty, nasty soul less, immoral vermin.
3Oh well, it looks like we’re going to have a nice little diversionary war with Iran.
4Wag the dog, make the xchristofascists, CUFI, AIPAC, and RWNJ’s everywhere cream their pants.
Watch how Barr, Mueller, corruption, the Constitution, et al., disappear from the ‘news’ media.
Nothing like the distractions of a nice little ‘patriotic’ war to send the masses yelping into the woods…
Dang, left out two big issues needing a diversionary tactic: the DPRK/Kim Il-Pudgy/nukes/missiles, and impeachment.
5Getting hard to keep the whole endless list of crisis issues anymore.
A thousand dollar bar tab? What were they drinking? Molten gold?
There is a large cohort of us who always knew tRump was a mobster. Ergo, he has made his own fate as in mobster-rtake -out. We are betting that ti will not be surprise when tRump has a very short-lived “retirement”. He’s made wayyyyy to many enemies. All over the world.

7Our Fearless Leaders are channeling Vyacheslav von Plehve-“To stem the tide of revolution what we need is a short victorious war.”
The 1905 Russo-Japanese War was short but the Russians were not on the victorious end.
Mike @7, The Tsar and Russkies greatly underestimated that one. The Russian navy was pretty big, but outdated. The Japanese had quietly built up a world-class navy, by buying most of it from Germany and Britain.
Almost the entire Russian fleet was destroyed by the IJN, and their stretched out army thrashed.
Of course, in less than ten years, those ‘smart’ Russians under their Tsar would lead the entire world into WWI.
The Germans schemed to begin WWI of course, but the actual conflict began when the Russians came to the aid of their fellow Slavs in Serbia, who had been attacked by the Austro-Hungarian Empire (at the urging/scheming of the Germans). This obligated the Germans to come to the aid of ally Austro-Hungary, which brought the French in to help their treaty allies the Russians. The Brits jumped in and many millions died.
WWI did pretty well finish off the monarchies, and alter whole societies. But there were a few troublemakers left around, like Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, et al., who would precipitate an even bigger WWII rerun twenty years later.
Now we wait and see what Putin has directed Tsar Trumpanov to do…(what could possibly go wrong with that?).

9The Russo/ Japanese war started with a sneak attack on Port Arthur, a Russian “treaty port” in Manchuria. South of the Korean Peninsula. The Japanese declared war the day after the attack.
This was the template they tried again at Pearl Harbor.
They then laid siege to Port Arthur and took it before the Russian fleet sent from the Baltic arrived.
This required the Russian fleet to try and get to Vladivostok which required transiting the straits between Korea and Japan where they were ambushed by the Japanese fleet and destroyed.
Provocations before the war from both sides. Japan wished an unhindered path to conquer and occupy manchuria. The russians were wary of a “new” competitor in the east.
The Russians did think that a small glorious war would help distract from domestic unrest.
The japanese were eager to humiliate a “western” power.
Both were feasting upon the bones of imperial china.
Roosevelt ( Teddy) sold out the russians and the Koreans with negotiated treaty of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
At what point does a person covering for and ignoring the crimes of a criminal also become a criminal?
Nancy Pelosi needs to do her goddamned job and stop playing politics with the United States of America’s rule of law.
10I’m frustrated with Pelosi too; but I think she knows what she’s doing.
Eager as I am th send Donnie on a permanent vacation at the Greybar Hotel, the polls currently show that only 17% currently favor impeachment. And with reptile McConnell sitting on the Senate and doing nothing but cranking out right-wing judicial appointments, there’s not a prayer that the Senate would convict Trunp.
Let the House keep doing their investigations. I really hope that when the various cabinet members and other officials continue to refuse to comply with subpoenas, a couple of them get arrested and jailed for Contempt of Congress – THAT should get their attention! I would love to see Steve Mnuchin perp-walked and locked up. I’ll bet those tax returns would be delivered posthaste. And Donnie would yowl like a scalded cat. But he does that anyway. It could get messy. But the only thing to make a bully stop is to push back. Chuck Schumer is nobody’s favorite politician, but he made that point on TV this week, and he’s absolutely right. Throw sone punches and bloody a few noses. I’m betting cooperation will improve.
And keep up the relentless quest for more information. Release the gory details only when you have ironclad proof. I know it seems like this has been going on forever; but remember, Dems have had control of the House for less than 4 months. Give them time to get it right, and to bring more people around to backing impeachment. Because we’ll only get one shot at it. It has to work, or…
