Here’s What I Figure

April 10, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Attorney General William Barr has announced that  he “has assembled a team to review controversial counterintelligence decisions made by Justice Department and FBI officials, including actions taken during the probe of the Trump campaign in the summer of 2016.”

In short, he’s going to conduct his own Nunes hearings.

So, here’s the best I can figure. The Mueller report must be much worse than Barr lets on.  Now he’s going to use the excuse that he redacted so much because the report was prejudiced against Trump from the start.

There must be some dynamite in the report and I can’t even imagine what’s in Trump’s tax returns.

Be social and share!

Release the hounds … er … report. It’s like this Billy boy: every inch of redaction is a pile of dirt on IQ4.5. #WhatchaHiding

    1
  2. Barr certainly knows how to paint a picture of the Mueller report for us, using only small, long rectangular blocks of black paint. Even between the lines.

    2
  3. There must be a copy of the unredacted report out there.
Now what’s needed is a citizen brave enough to leak it.

    3
  4. RepubAnon says:

No, this is Trump 2020 campaign strategy. There’ll be strategic leaks, high-profile grand jury testimony, and efforts to create a media frenzy chasing squirrels until November 2020. If Trump wins, it’ll quietly go away.

    4
  5. What can this possibly prove when the surveillance was carried out under court ordered warrants, and nothing illegal is found?

If this throws more dirt at the ‘Rule Of Law’, Putin is happy…

    5
  6. Please let this s**t show END and let us get back to some semblance of normal. Please.

The Democrats just passed legislation restoring net neutrality. Don’t you know Drumpf will veto it… and every other legislation enacted by the House?

    6
  7. Wouldn’t a probe of Trump during the elections *prove* there was no bias?

Certain parties tried awfully hard to discredit Hillary Clinton, so an investigation of trump would certainly demonstrate the republidon’ts wanted a level playing field, fairness and honesty throughout the whole process.

    / sarcasm off.

It seems the entire Trump clan (or is it Klan) doth protest too much.

    7
  8. Those dumb ASSED senators should NOT have confirmed Barr!

    Will Democrats ever learn anything?

The repugnuts would not have been that STUPID!

  10. Sorry, but this just inspires me to giggle – I said giggle, understand? I do not cackle.

  11. Barr twice (that I heard) refused to answer a simple yes or no if he gave the report to the WH, once yesterday in the House hearing and once in the Senate hearing today. Instead he muttered something about landing the plane today. Disappointed the members didn’t interrupt with a “just a yes or no please”. In this case I’ll take Barrs non answers as a yes. Especially with the shitshow from Trump’s Twitter account last weekend as a clue. He’s freaked out. Good. Agree, some patriotic American needs to release the full report, even to Schiff and Nadler.

  12. Jane & PKM says:

Hannah @11, Schiff and Nadler are honorable men with a modicum of spine. It might be preferable to have Rep. Maxine Waters receive the report. She’s honorable, has a full spine and quite possibly the most “balls” of any member of the House. May the member of the House most likely to share with the rest of us receive the report. Rep. Elijah Cummings and John Lewis would be fun.

As for the media, please not Rachel Maddow. Am in no mood to be teased through 3 or more long weeks of ‘lead up.’ Maybe Lawrence O’Donnell or Chris Hayes? Best would be Joy Reid and a panel of lawyers plus Malcolm Nance to serve up IQ4.5’s kompromat, covfefe, and his tiny little sputniks.

Meanwhile, SOBOTUS is immensely enjoying a 5-star San Antonio-area private club fundraising conclave in which he’ll raise untold millions for himself and maybe the Rethugs.
No worries, it’s biz as usual.
Maybe there’ll be some video clips of Comrade Donnei ranting about the not-far-away Mexican border or “corrupt Democrats” amongst the likes of Abbott, Cruz, Rev Hagee, and SA’s elite, etc.
He’s been at “The Argyle Club” in Alamo Heights since this morning (SA’s ‘River Oaks/Potomac/Grosse Pointe area…).

[My kids went to grade school and lived about 2000 feet from the Argyle Club address (on Cambridge Oval and Circle St).]

Don A in Pennsyltucky#9 – thanks for link to dcreport. Wasn’t aware of this source. Have great respect for David Cay Johnson, the editor-in-chief. Had read lots about Felix Sater whose father is part of Simeon Mogilovich’s “family”, considered most violent of Russian mafia groups. Question: how is he still even alive after ratting out Russian criminality?

Jane & PKM#12 – my greatest fantasy is the leak of an unredacted copy of Mueller report and all backup evidence leaked to Rep. Maxine Waters. She’s my hero (Just like the word HERO much better than Heroine.) Yup, hers are brass.

Barr will be keeping the lid on everything Mueller or anyone in the Justice Dept. will be allowed to say. Disgusting when our laws and regulations allow criminal actions because they aren’t worded correctly or are too tightly configured. Where’s Batman when you really need him?

Maybe the TX lege should just stick to underfunding education and infrastructure, increasing gerrymandering, and bad Endowment investing and leave women alone!

    15
  16. Ah, yes, Maxine Waters. Boy, did she have it out with Mnuchin yesterday. Reichwing heads would explode if she had the unredacted M report first!

    16
  17. Gutless congressional d’s.
They saw this coming. Everyone saw this coming.
Don’t talk about referring to lawyers they should have the law suit ready to go and already filed.
Plus they should have filed impeachment against mnuchin and irs director for flagrant violation of the law and obstruction of justice not to mention contempt of congress.
But oh no can’t do that must be polite to the thugs.
Can’t wait for Jayapal as new speaker with Katie Porter as whip and Rep Ilhan as the caucaus chair.

    17
  18. *Sigh*
Republicans just keep forgetting that this is a democratic republic. In democratic republics power changes hands regularly.

Case in point: House — 6 months ago.
    How quickly Republicans forget.

    Another case in point:
Years ago, [don’t recall the year, sorry] the Republicans had hold of the Senate. They passed all kinds of rules that made the minority party absolutely powerless. Then the Democrats roared in and took the Senate back.

And Harry Reid, the new Majority Leader said that he was going to keep the rules the Republicans had enacted FOR THE FIRST 100 DAYS — after which he would allow them to be modified and hand some power back to the minority.

HOW THE REPUBLICANS HOWLED! They called him a dictator — and worse. For maintaining the rules, for just over 3 months, that they themselves had enacted.

Does anyone here think they would have rescinded those rules 100 days after THEY had kept hold of the Senate? Yeah, me neither.

Note to Republicans — power changes hands. Next year, it’s quite likely the Democrats will pry the Mueller Report and Trump’s returns from your cold, dead hands and the entire country will know what you’re hiding.

Or you could do what’s right for the country now.
But that thought never crosses your minds and we all know it.

    18
  19. Barr’s Senate confirmation was inevitable, since the Senate is controlled by Republicants. The fix was in and will continue until the Democrats take the Senate and the White House. Of course, the Russians and NRA and all that dark money will be fighting even harder to keep them right where they are. We have to choose a candidate who can take that White House away from Trump and begin fumigating it.
