Here’s a Little Twist…

December 20, 2020 By: El Jefe Category: Uncategorized

As we talked about a couple of days ago, Trump’s agreements with the town of Palm Beach to never make Mar a Lago his permanent residence, there are questions now being raised that he voted absentee using a residence address that he’s not allowed to use.  This means that, Trump himself (and Melania) may have very well committed voter fraud by claiming a residence that he can’t occupy.

Developing.

Yeah, we figured this out a couple of years ago. Cheeto is more demented than Raygun on his deathbed. But don’t you ever forget that vote by mail is fraud!

  2. If Trump voted illegally, doesn’t that invalidate the Florida results with all electoral votes then going to Biden?

Ted says–“If Trump voted illegally, doesn’t that invalidate the FL results with all electoral votes then going to Biden?”

Even without his own and Melania’s votes, and a dozen or so more of anyone else in the entourage who claimed Mar a Lago as a residence, Trump’s lead in Florida would be over 37,000. Much as I dislike Trump, I can’t see invalidating the votes of 37,000+ voters because HE voted illegally. Unless they were all packed into Mar a Lago.

  4. That’s worth about 5 years in the pokey right there! let’s do it! That’d save a lot of hassle.

  5. So like that 80’s song, Trump was Lookin’ For Fraud In All The Wrong Places.

EM@3, apparently you don’t closely follow the legal arguments used by team Drumph to toss out all the votes cast in swing states Heir Cheeto lost this round. Ted@2 was merely pointing out the absurdity of their irrational arguments.

  7. The Silly Tart isn`t worried about where he can and cannot reside .

  8. Jason Weiss says:

Maybe New York can go after this to get him to file New York Taxes for the past few years. If he is not a legal Florida resident, then he remained a New York resident and owes New York income taxes.

  9. Rich in Fla says:

The Palm Beach County supervisor of elections did not let him register using that address. They told him it was not a legal residence for voting purposes because it was zoned as a hotel and club

I don’t remember how he got around it but should be interesting to find out.

More importantly, if Maraloco isn’t his legal residence then it doesn’t get legal homestead protection under Fla law, so judgment creditors could levy on it and force a sale to satisfy judgments….the possibilities are endless and mind-boggling

  11. Jason Weiss, sounds like a good idea to me. I understand he made millions by making taxpayers pay him to take vacations.

  12. Inkdreamer says:

I read somewhere that he first tried to register to vote in FL using 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue as his residence! Of course, that would constitute fraud and result in a prison term if it was anyone else–and especially a Black or brown person.

    12
  13. Yeah, Jason, I like the way you think.

  14. Steve from Beaverton says:

I googled where Trumpf registered to vote, and in the end he did list mar-a-lago and was sued, but it was the palm beach elections supervisor that ruled it was legal. Unfortunately she is the final word by Florida law, and her interpretation was that anywhere he claims to spend most of his time is ok to register. She said he could claim a park bench. In the end, though, he’ll need to flee to putinland when all the shit hits the fan in NY and perhaps in federal court for his recent campaign fraud.

The one true test of intelligence is the extent to which someone agrees with me.

    You are an intelligent person.

    15
  16. Aw, gee! So they really are that dumb and proved it!

“elections supervisor… her interpretation was that anywhere he claims to spend most of his time is ok to register. She said he could claim a park bench.”

Sounds like the exact opposite of Republican voter suppression tactics around the country.

  19. OK – for our legal eagles – here is the link to the agreement. It appears that Trump has gotten away with overstaying every year
and building a helipad, but this does pose a problem for where the secret service can stay.

Knowing Trump he will keep this in court and ignore his neighbors but they will start legally notifying him soon and the lawsuits will be flying. I don’t see why he doesn’t create a huge compound for him and his family in Florida to live in and then gouge all his organizations by forcing to have events there.

It’s OK if you’re a Republican — especially if you’re Donald John Trump.
