Taegan Goddard at Political Wire points out something I never even thought about. And I wonder why the talking heads on the teevee didn’t catch it.
But what’s missing from most of the news coverage is that Cohen was also the deputy finance chairman of the Republican National Committee when these payments were made.
Cohen’s legal troubles obviously present problems for President Trump. But they’re now a problem for the entire Republican party as well.
Could not happen to a better bunch of guys.
