Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
My problem with the news about the DNC is they put so much crap on their emails that was discoverable. Even this old woman who has never been gainfully employed has enough sense to know to pick up the phone.
1As a Democrat I have come from utopian idealism, voting for McGovern, to pragmatic progressivism and absolute support for the Democratic candidates. As much as I admire Bernie Sanders for his convictions, he would not have been able to win the general election and most of his demands would not have been supported by moderate Democrats, let alone moderate Republicans. We have two candidates who have spent their lives working for the betterment of society. They didn’t just talk the talk. Hillary may not be perfect, but when you try to balance her use of a private email server versus the outright fraud and greed of her opponent, his lack of credit in any kind of public service, his woeful foreign policy instincts and his attacks against minorities, THERE IS NO COMPARISON. If you think wasting your vote on a third party is some kind of protest, go ahead. But voting for a party which really can do a lot toward bettering the human condition
2furthers the causes about which most of us care.
Nancy in Illinois, I’ve let you say things on my website that I totally disagree with. Let me gently remind your “critical thinking skills and logic”that you live in Illinois, woman. Your vote ain’t gonna swing that state. I’m on the opposite end, so I get it. I’m not a terribly bright person but I do know this- arguing with you is like trying to get a chicken to dance. The chicken doesn’t know samba from ballet and it doesn’t matter anyway.
3J.J., loved the chicken analogy. it could be extended to tea party jihadists as well.
4Thank you Miss JJ.
5Marcia in CO –
You’re kidding. Morning Moron actually showed something worth watching ?? And I missed it! But seriously, what were the odds?
I gave up on them a couple of years ago. Really no time for such an arrogant blowhard. And so demoralizing to watch an intelligent woman like Mika serving as an enabler. Not to mention, her Daddy Issues can be seen from space.
6@Nancy in IL
I am gobsmacked by your assertion that you were a “Democrat” for some number of years and now for whatever reason, you’re not. C’mon Democrat? really? Or was it that you are ultra-conservative socially and fiscally but you like doing the “right” thing, so long as it doesnt disturb your constricted sense of order? You may well be Babtist, but you’d fit right into a socially conservative Islamic or Hasidic community equally well. Folks! Let’s broaden our minds.
7A chicken, especially a midwestern chicken, knows how to do the Chicken Dance.
8Thank you everyone for your feedback, it’s been quite interesting for a lot of reasons. No, I am not a troll, a religious person, or a Trump supporter. Yes, I realize that my vote won’t make a difference because I’m in IL, and that gives me some freedom you guys likely don’t have. I am a quiet person, so haven’t commented here much, but I have enjoyed your conversations. Believe me, I won’t be commenting again.
9I suppose Slip allowed the “party planner” to teach Mr Quackers how to shimmy and waddle.
10Lunargent … Yes, the Morons had a reasonable conversation this morning … LOL I was up by 5 this a.m. and not a whole lot on the ole tube at that time … so I get MSNBC on and use it mostly for background rumble, if you will!
I guess now that Mika is divorced, she’s hob-nobbing with Joe … or has been for some time!! She should be able to do a helluva lot better then Scarboogerbits!!
Bye!!! Nancy!!
11@Nancy in IL
Politics is a full contact sport even in this fairly well-behaved locale. Thick skin is the minimum requirement. Good luck.
12I rank Morning “Its all about me and damn well better be” Joe about level with a root canal. Could never figure out what the bleep he was doing whether it was in Congress or on the TV! And whatever happened to that son who was the reason he quit his House seat and needed his daddy so much? Damn, I hate it when slithereens use their kids as an excuse to get out of the way of a train wreck they themselves caused. I think JS was in some kind of doo-doo which made his self-removal the only answer. Right after he left, the oncoming train went by.
13“Scarboogerbits”! Marcia in CO, I’ll be laughing at that all day.
14Thanks for some much needed levity.
For all the “purity people” who distain the armpit odor from real politics, remember that angels only dance in your imagination, they can’t vote, and don’t care anyhow.
15Nancy in IL: Wrap it up. You’ve been found out. What I’ve read from you on this post alone could’ve come from anyone at FOX. A “Democrat” my ass!!
And just FYI for the future: “Nancy in IL” can be typed into the Google and it will search for that term WHEREVER IT EXISTS ON THE WEB! Got that?
See I knew you weren’t a Dem because Dems know that. Snacilbupers don’t seem to get the internet. So temember, anyone can check your commenting activity at any time. Just to see if you pull this crap somewhere else.
Buh bye, “Nancy”.
16Maryelle … glad I could give you a good 🙂
17Nancy in IL says she teaches critical thinking skills. Really? Wouldn’t have guessed it from her ongoing rant. Heaven help her students. (BTW, there are others of us here who either currently reside in Illinois or who have once lived here. Please don’t put us in the same boat.)
18Umpty, this not about IL. It’s about someone claiming to be something they’re not. “She” can claim to not be a troll but “she” sure talks like one. Weird, huh?
You will note I’m using quotation marks around “she” and “Nancy” because I have no faith that this “person” is who they want us to believe they are.
