He Was Just Joking, Right?

October 28, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

I know he was just joking because it’s always cool to joke about Presidential assassination, but I thought you’d like to see Trump in action.

It bothers me that women are always the problem.  They still want to lock Hillary up.  Nancy Pelosi is barely even human to these guys, and since Trump can’t find much wrong with Biden, just guess who he goes after.  But he has to get Biden out of the way.

Thanks to SGray for the heads up.

Hope someone gets to ask pence and barrf for the record about these comments. It’s worse than Trumpf just being Trumpf or he was just joking around, making funny. Ha ha. Barrf is so anxious to condemn democrats for being violent, when literally all the threats of violence come from Trumpf and his followers. Expect it to get worse the next week.

Apparently a number of people have forwarded this threat to the Secret Service.

  3. Opinionated— I was just thinking the same thing; glad to read that the threat is seen for what it is and no one is above the law to be reported as a credible threat to a candidate. Or, in his scenario, it would be the President.

I’m looking forward to referring to him as the LATE Donald Trump but of course, I would never say that out loud.

  6. Funny, when I heard Trump say this (including part before) I just interpreted as his saying Biden will be enfeebled and stepping down within a few weeks of the election.

So not “be shot” as in with bullet, but as unable to perform.

Of course–Trump’s choice of phrasing, especially when free-wheeling, is usually disturbing and alarming.

  7. “That’s why they’re talking about the 25th Amendment” says Trump.

I think he’s either mistaken about who it’s in reference to, misinformed, or confirming with good reason why the 25th Amendment has been brought up.

  8. Star @ 6:
That’s how I interpreted it, too, though in a somewhat more sinister way:
What I picked up was that this evil woman, along with her Socialist cronies, have established poor, put-upon, stupid Uncle Joe as a figurehead and, as soon as they’re inaugurated, they’ll 25 his ass.

The theme is the same as Trump’s usual insecurities dictate:
any strong woman is to be feared — therefore she is evil incarnate and out to eviscerate all men.

So, make sure you lock her up till proven innocent.

What is it Trump has been on about throughout his tenure? Witch hunts?

And it gives him the chance to point that 25 at someone else as he’s so fond of doing.

Trump seems to be the real life embodiment of White Goodman from Dodgeball. You have the before and after body (or before and after and then after in the case of Goodman). You have the just kiddings but not really comments. You have the allusion of success even though it all came from daddy. My favorite part is the complete inability to realize he is the butt of every joke.

  10. I was taught in school that any threat against the US President was subject to an arrest. Oh, I forgot, the Republican’ts are in charge of the DOJ.

  11. The question I have is: Is the Orange Moron just being his usual, ghastly self? Or, is he getting desperate?

At least we know that the Secret Service has managed to keep Obama alive for the past 12 years. That’s quite a feat, given how many armed crazies are out there.

  12. Harry Eagar says:

No, he clearly meant shot with a bullet. I notice the crowd did not go crazy or laugh.

Today I drove by a yard with a bunch of local campaign signs, all Republican, and a Trump-Pence sign next to a Trump-Harris sign.

I was taught in school that any threat against the US President was subject to an arrest.

If I remember correctly, people have been arrested in airports when they greeted their friend too loudly, “hi Jack!” or off handedly said something was “da bomb.”

Reminds me of the movie “Beckett” where King Henry II remarks out loud to some of his inner circle, “Will no one rid me of this man?” meaning his former carousing buddy turned church leader.
At least the king had the good sense to have himself flagellated once he became self aware of the effects of his words.
Won’t happen in the trump case.

  16. Trump’s already stated/warned that Harris is a black woman illegitimately trying to come in thru the back door to reach the presidency. So now he warns his cult that Biden will die/be killed/be incapacitated just weeks into his term, making Harris president. So vote for him (trump). It’s just more of the same crap. Racist, woman hating, calls her a “monster”, and clearly feels threatened by the brilliant Kamala Harris. Stating his case that the country would be degraded by having a black woman president (worse than Obama – a black man!!! Horrors!). Makes me want to scream.

  17. The Secret Service went into supreme overdrive when Obama was elected because the threats from all the loonies were piling up n their office. They took everyone of them seriously. They know this is a trumpet call for the loonies and they are damn right. Biden will get the same protection for the same reason.

    Sigh.

  18. Opinionated Hussy says:

Van Heldorf#15….I remember it well. “Will no one rid me of this troublesome priest?” Too bad about the ‘no flagellation’ here. I bet there’d be folks who’d pay real money to see that.

It’s just trump sharing his violent fantasies again. Four years ago he was suggesting a “Second Amendment solution” for Hillary. He’s excited by violence (“beat the crap out of him”) as long as it’s happening at a safe distance. He’s the same draft-dodging coward he was at eighteen.
