Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Read some of the comments, but gave up after noting many of the negative commenters clearly hadn’t read the article with any attention to detail. That is, they seemed to think that the mural was painted with permission of the wall’s owner.
1Oops, Meant ” they seemed to think that the mural was painted WITHOUT the permission of the wall’s owner.”
2So the suspect is 58. I wonder what he wants to be when he grows up.
3Some people will vandalize….. just about anything.
See a lot of churches these days protecting their beatiful stained glass windows with plexi-glass on the outside.
Wonder what it would take to protect this mural …. in similar fashion.
Just askin’
4“beautiful’.
It’s cold, and damp…. and arthritic fingers don’t type so well sometimes. Sometimes, they miss a key here and there.
5I’m with austinhatlady: 58? Definitely old enough to know better. Time he grew up.
6His children must be so proud of him!
7Probably part of this a-hole’s punishment when they get him is that he has to spend many many community service hours on duty guarding the painting…with mandatory jail time hanging over his head if any part of it is damaged.
8Hate is hard to supress. It keeps popping its ugly head up generation after generation.
