Fun With Guns: Who Shot Me? Edition
Newton County, Georgia, sheriff’s department decided they needed some officer training.
They were probably right.
A sheriff’s deputy was shot last Friday for no good reason. At least that’s what we can surmise with the deluge of forthcoming information.
According to Newton County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Felicia Jefferson, the incident happened during an officer training session. The deputy was taken to Atlanta Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Jefferson would not say if the deputy shot himself, or if he was shot by another officer.
I think they might also need some crime solving training if they don’t know who shot who.
I’m not saying that guns are quite often not safe in the hands of professionals and people with proper training but … oh hell, that’s exactly what I’m saying.
Ha! Georgia. nuff said.
1I wonder if they learned anything.
2If this is what they have for cops, no wonder the crooks are laughing!
3Apparently the Newton County Sheriff’s idea of “transparency” is not informing the public about what actually happened, but rather opening up daylight amongst its officers with bullets.
