Fun With Guns: Killing Computers Editions

Okay, this one is in a police station in Chicago.

At 9:40 pm a police sergeant accidentally discharged his firearm inside the police station.

No one was injured, but officers noticed a trickle of water from the first-floor ceiling that turned into a gushing stream. The downpour ruined computers and desks, but a damage estimate wasn’t immediately available.

However, you can now take a shower in the detective division.

On the bright side, he hit a water pipe, not a sewage pipe.

Must respectfully disagree, Zyxomma, but I love your alternative choice. Any gohmert who cannot safely carry a weapon deserves a load of their own gohmerts delivered over head.

Great idea for punishing offenders, when there is no bodily harm in a shooting incident. One thousand hours community service cleaning out the city sewers.

Don’t tell me, it was another gun safety demonstration. I think it was Chris Rock who suggested that the cost of bullets be raised to $50,000.00 a piece. Maybe then those unloaded guns would really be unloaded and more discretion MIGHT be used as to their use.

  4. And the police sergeant who doesn’t know how to control a loaded gun is probably out patrolling somewhere.

  5. Rhea, actually he would be pushing a pencil, first checking to see that it is unloaded. This is what the police department around here calls “administrative” leave when a cop is under investigation. Chris Rock is sooooo right! Frankly there is an old federal law on the books, dating from the Second World War, about hoarding. My late brother in law, the mighty hunter, knew guys who had stockpiled ammo to a degree no one would believe. Have always thought that if guns couldn’t be controlled, ammo could and should. And making your own ammo in response would get you the same type of action from the guvmint as an illegal still.
