I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

If Cruz-er the Canuck were a tree he would be mahogany he is just that dense! He managed to blow off the popular and electoral votes of the entire state of New York last night. Methinks that in a previous life he got his training in bizarre accusations at the Salem witch trials!
1I can’t hold this in because I might explode: have you seen Trump’s Cheerleaders (The Freedom Girls). Ugh. Gah. Puke. All decked out in red white and blue, twitching their hips and singing a re-tooled WWI patriotic song. The best part: THEY ARE ALL WHITE! The audience just luuuuvvvved them, by what, sentimental isolationist grammas and men who love little girls? Ick, Pew.
2“Open for Commercial Development” is exactly what the Tea Bagging idiots do not understand about their Koch backers. Without federal protection, we can kiss all of this land good-bye and see an end to potable water.
3Linda, I was aghast at the manipulation of those kids! If they are able to look back at the videos and such years from now they will likely have the same reaction. And, yes, I have been noticing the Lily Garden that Trump so assiduously nurtures everywhere he goes! And i bet the rest of the country isn’t blind, either!

5I agree with you PKM, but you fall prey to what a college prof of mine called “humanistic pomposity”. You used the word ‘we’ when in fact it’s not about us but about all that other life out there which needs to survive so thus we can also. What few humans admit is that humanity has no purpose on this planet. If we all one day disappeared, the planet would get along just fine without us.

Lyric flashback from the 60’s: When will they ever learn?
10JAKvirginia, that’s what my Grandmother sings: “When will they ever learn?” She mourns the 60s for the progress that was made only to have been pushed back by the wing nut ‘southern strategy.’ But it’s easy to put a smile on her face with a hug; bringing along a guitar helps. Her voice is still as true as her heart.
11PKM, I mourn the 60s because we had hope then. Granted, things have significantly improved since then for pretty much everybody who’s not a straight white male smoker who eats meat.
12Rhea, for all of my very minor disagreements with President Obama, he did deliver on his promise of “hope and change.” We’re now negotiating where we used to bomb. We have avenues of communication with Iran and Cuba. Ten sailors are now safe because we had direct lines of communication with Iran.
And, if we all gather to get out the vote, we very well could regain the Senate, maintain the Presidency, while making significant inroads into restoring sanity to the House. I’m a Bernie supporter, but if HRC is the Democratic nominee, I’ll support her. Anything to keep snacilbupeR paws off the nukular button and ensure the RATS in our SCROTUS are not given a weasel or two or three to establish their Opey Dopey theocratic takeover.
