My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
“The Moral High Ground” cartoon is very good, but there is one teeny problem; the trashcan labeled “Tom Foley” should read “Mark Foley” instead. One is a true man of the people and a great liberal American, the other was a pedophile.
1P.S. I left a similar note on Jim Morin’s comment blog, but I think the copy editor changed the picture already.
2Good catch. W/O glasses I kept seeing Tom Delay instead of Foley.
3Tom Foley was a victim of rw dirty tricks in his last election. Gingrich or someone was spreading rumors about Foley being gay if I remember correctly.
4Without my coffee, I thought it read,”Tom Foolery” and laughed out loud. Shucks!
5Where are the trashcans marked Tom Delay and Rick Perry (oh, that’s right, he’s only been indicted, not convicted)?
6Speaking of that indictment, have there been any new developments which might trip up the Alleged Felon’s presidential campaign?
