Everything is Hunky Dorey Now. Move On. Nothing to See Here.

Well, Trump just told a friend something weirder than spank me.

“… he’s expecting to make one or two major changes to his government very soon,” but “that’s going to be it.”

Seems to me I’ve heard that song before, it’s an old familiar score, I know it well, that melody.
It’s funny how a theme recalls a favorite dream total screw-up.

To make you question your own sanity, the friend adds …

Trump is “perplexed by all these reports that there’s chaos at the White House or mass staff changes.”

It’s a well oiled ferris wheel that dumps people out randomly.

One or two major changes — hmmmmm.  Anybody got any guesses who?

  1. The one at the top would be favorite. Make that the two at the top. No, actually you’d have to work pretty far down the list to find a good one. The Democrats scatter their nuts throughout the sundae, but the Republicans put the really big ones right up top.

  2. Actually, the ‘major changes to his government’ rather than to ‘his administration’ is rather alarming.

It sounds as if he’s planning on abolishing either most of the Executive branch departments, or maybe even the Supreme Court. Wouldn’t put it past him to try!

  3. Who know with that “wacko doodle white house”. Those who should go stay, like Carson or DeVos. My guess will be Gen. Kelly ( secretly hoping it is him I bet).

  4. oops forgot the s in knows….I do not want to criticized for my spelling. Marine Core…really trump what a jerk!

  5. The chilling operative words to me are: “to his government”…
It’s supposed to be, used to be, OUR government. Parliamentary and authoritarian systems use that term, but it is alien to our supposed democracy.

  6. Word on the street is it’s Shulkin at the VA. His little jaunt to Europe on the taxpayer’s dime last summer didn’t sit well with the big guy. It seems he’s the only one allowed to screw the public (or porn stars) with impunity.

    6
  7. It has to be Sessions.

    7
  8. I’m doubling my “Ses”. Both Shulkin and Sessions, maybe in the same basket.

May the next exit hit Donnie as a surprise … his own.

    I’m guessing . . . Melania.

    Uh huh….

I’m hoping NOT Sessions. If a new attorney general gets in, Mueller is out.

  13. Jane & PKM says:

slipstream, Messy ain’t going anywhere. In divorce as in impeachment, Donnie will be the one doing the leaving. Divorcing Messy will make Bob Mueller look like a cuddle bear to Donnie. When she’s ready, she’ll have her attorneys drop every tome in the volumes of asset seizure on his sorry ample assets.

It’s a long shot but I’ll say Mnuchin. Donzo will blame him for the lack of a line-item veto and no money in the budget for his big beautiful wall. (I didn’t say it would make any sense.)

Just heard this on MSNBC, Ari Melber reporting that not only did Cambridge Analytica violate federal election laws by running Trump’s campaign, but was involved in many other Rethug campaigns such as Ted Cruz. Bolton used them to get other Rethugs elected as well. No wonder they have been so quiet with regard to the Mueller investigation.

  16. My money is on Kelly & Shulkin, who has been on the electric teevee machine a lot lately & TrumpleThinSkin doesn’t like seeing anyone else get publicity. Maybe Carson who is black, you know or Betsey who is of the female persuasion both of whom have been in the Daily Swamp columns a lot lately.

I think Jared might do the noble thing and resign because ‘distraction’ from the noble mission

Chao is safe because Mitch & the Senate told DearLeader very clearly that they wouldn’t have time to confirm a new AG until next year

  17. @slipstream and Jane & PKM

Messy will certainly have signed a prenup and because he has had so much experience with them I am sure it will be a good one

She is planning on outliving him. She will sulk and ice him out both in public and at home. She will glow around others and show him up for the pig he is in a multitude of passive-agressive ways.

Eventually he will fall into Altzheimers like his dad or keel over and she will have won
