Election Fraudster Drops out of NC Race
Down here at the Salon we’re popping popcorn and making lemonade. We’ll have plenty for Michael Cohen’s I Fall on Trump’s Sword show watch party today. We’ll even rent you a lawn chair for a very small sum. In the meantime, we’ve noted that North Carolina election fraudster, Republican Mark Harris, has withdrawn from the revote after his very own son confirmed that he had warned his dad not to hire “Mr. Dowless”, a shady convicted felon who acted as an operative stealing absentee ballots from elderly and infirm voters. Harris won the election by 905 votes, but only by winning a heavily Democratic county; the skewed vote attracted the attention of voter officials prompting the now well-known investigation.
Withdrawing from the race, Harris has cited “health” issues. Clearly, it’s unhealthy to commit blatant election fraud. I’m now wondering if the NC attorney general is going to show up next. Not likely, is my guess.
Thank you, thank you, thank you x 100,000. This crooked repub, one of many hundreds still needs to be investigated and charged with jail time in the offing. One tiny piece of dirt in the mud that is the GOP.

5Grandma Ada: tell me more! The last I heard was that the slob who provided the 95k names was up for confirmation, and was squirming and sweating in the hot spot. He had to admit that 20% or more of the names were known to be citizens even before he sent them out.

6if harris withdraws and the thuglican hail mary new “law” requiring a new primary fails in court, where it is now, this may result with the thuglicans not having any candinate on the ballot.
It is open to legal question that a revote requires the same candinates.
7Surly Professor – The Chronicle reported that San Antonio federal judge Fred Biery has ordered all TX counties to stand down and not send letters etc. ordering proof of citizenship. In the LULAC trial, he was apparently convinced there is no voter fraud in TX. Sorry – not good on links but check the paper!

10I live in NC and the Republican Party has lots of stains. Last week was not good for them. The went down in flames in the 9th Congressional District race and a judge just threw out the constitutional amendment to add a voter ID law as the legislature was illegally gerrymandered. If the Republicans take this all the way to the NC Supreme Court, good luck. The court is now dominated by Democrats 6-1.
