Okay, so I did not ever suspect the Navy Seals were the most socially aware people on the planet, but who the hell do they think they are?
How the hell did we let them get away with saying he took a knee because he hates the troops? It’s not about the troops. The national anthem is not about the troops. They get Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day. That’s enough.
There are children watching. Those kids in the background are ROTC. What the hell are they seeing?
I believe the troops are there in the first place to protect freedom of speech.
Racist. Certainly punishable under the UCMJ. Conduct unbecoming for starters.

2The SEALS are a real mess right now, and the Orange Moron isn’t helping things one little bit. He will not allow any of these fools to be punished for this stunt. I pity the CNO who’s only trying to do his job and keeps getting thwarted at every turn.
3As much as I give credit to the Seals for such things like freeing Captain Phillips from his pirate captors, they still have a snag in their organization. They are secret. OK. I can see the reason for that. But secretive as well as in answering to nobody for any damn thing. Watch tRump give them a thumbs up on this misbehavior and encourage them to do more such stuff. They know that they are considered extremely necessary to the security of this country. OK, guys! Just don’t push it! Rein it in! This is a time when you really didn’t look grown up!
4Just heard on the radio a few minutes ago that the SEAL organization has launched an investigation into this matter. They said that it is not in keeping with the standards of the organization or something like that. We’ll have to wait and see if they actually punish the guilty party.

6Our clown of a president is so enamored of superlatives, and such a physical coward, I would expect him to try to woo the SEALS and the other SpecFor’s for his personal bodyguard. Up to now I would have said they’d be too grown up for such silliness. Now I’m not so sure.

This did happen in 2019. Curious as to just what the Navy Seal Museum in Ft. Pierce, FL is, and if it had any official relationship to the US Navy or any other branch of the US government, I went to the website for the museum. The link is here:

It turns out that this whole museum is a private project of ex-Seals and other interested parties, and is NOT in any capacity any kind of official organization of the US government or the military.
HOWEVER, the web site also lists its board of directors and Florida Advisory Board. That link is here:

Now THIS is where it gets interesting. Although many of the names listed on the board of directors are retired navy Seals, some ARE NOT. If this “museum” hosted this atrociously racist event in 2019, then the members of the board who are ACTIVE US Navy personnel should be targeted for inquiry by the Navy.
8It will be interesting to see just how far the Navy will investigate and discipline it’s own in regard to this disgusting incident. I was somewhat relieved to find the USN was not directly responsible for this. BUT – it looks to me like some active US Navy Seals have some explaining to do.

@ Bob Boland, I trust the SEALS leaders to do the right thing–and the *resident to brag about the wrong thing, b/c that’s what he does. Maybe the leadership will have the sense to “investigate” until after the first week in November, when the new President will back them up.
9There would probably have been a much faster response to this incident if the dog trainer wore a bulging fat suit, had applied orangeface and topped it off with a defective wig.

Navy Seals cut ties with museum Over Colin Kaepernick Video
DELRAY BEACH (AP) — The commander of the Navy SEALs said the unit will suspend its support of the National Navy SEAL Museum, a nonprofit organization not overseen by the military after videos surfaced online of dogs attacking a man wearing a Colin Kaepernick jersey during a demonstration.
“Each and every one of us serves to protect our fellow Americans – ALL Americans. Even the perception that our commitment to serving the men and women of this nation is applied unevenly is destructive,” Rear Admiral Collin Green, who heads the Naval Special Warfare Command, said in an email to his forces on Monday evening.
