President Trump revealed highly classified information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week, according to current and former U.S. officials, who said that Trump’s disclosures jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State.

I cannot decide if he hates America or is just nuts.  Can you even imagine if Barack Obama did something like this?

For today, there’s good news coming from North Carolina.

The Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal in the North Carolina voter ID case that a lower court said had discriminatory intent and ‘almost surgical precision’ targeting African-American voters.

That means the lower court’s decision stands.  North Carolina’s voter ID law is dead.

Chief Justice John Roberts reminded everyone that “the denial of a writ of certiorari imports no expression of opinion upon the merits of the case.”

Hey, Mr. Justice, we’ll take it anyway we can get it.

White nationalists protesting the removal of a Robert E. Lee statue in Charlottesville, Virginia, stormed two of the city’s parks on Saturday chanting Nazi slogans and brandishing torches.

You want me to take you seriously when you are mobbing-around carrying citronella tiki torches?  Ain’t no flies on you, huh?

Idiots.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper issued a stern warning Sunday about the state of the US government after President Donald Trump’s decision to fire FBI Director James Comey last week, saying he thinks US institutions are “under assault.”

“I think in many ways our institutions are under assault both externally — and that’s the big news here is the Russian interference in our election system — and I think as well our institutions are under assault internally,” Clapper said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Pressed by anchor Jake Tapper if he meant US institutions were under assault internally from the President, Clapper responded, “Exactly.”

Exactly.
