I Love Yew, Texas

February 12, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Okay, so a guy who had his fourth DWI conviction says the DWI laws in Texas are discriminatory because the discriminate against … yeah, alcoholics.

Ralph Alfred Friesenhahn argued that the state’s driving limit of 0.08 blood-alcohol concentration ignores the higher tolerances that frequent drinkers have to the effects of liquor, allowing the “protected class of alcoholics” to be prosecuted without having to prove that they had lost control of their mental or physical abilities.

Friesenhahn was arrested after a single-car rollover accident along a rural Comal County road south of New Braunfels. Blood tests later indicated that he had an alcohol concentration of 0.29 — more than 3½ times the legal limit.

Honey, when you’re triple drunk, it’s probably best not to act all cute.  You need to shuddup and learn to walk a line while poopfaced.

Shockingly, even in Texas the courts said nope.  You cannot drink and drive in Texas because somebody might get hurt.  You can, however, drink and carry a gun.  A big gun if you want to.  So, there’s always that.

Oh Nunes, Bless Your Heart

February 12, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Devin Nunes opened his own “News” website.  Yeah, the News from Nunes.  So, that’s what you now call whatever it is you find up Trump’s patootie?  News?

Nunes, who wins the Sneakiest Dumb Sumbitch on the face of the planet, didn’t want people to know that he was the sole owner, founder, typist, and headline writer at this “news” site.

Politico reported Sunday morning that a website called the “California Republican,” which was billed as a news website, was paid for by Nunes’ campaign. A line at the bottom of the cached page reads, “Paid for by the Devin Nunes Campaign Committee.”

Oops.  Well, I’d let you go look at it but, Honey, you’d have a better chance of seeing the Democratic Memo.

After the Politico report, Devin’s “site went offline, with a message on its Facebook page claiming that the website was the victim of an “attack” on its servers.”

That’s a real nice way of saying that it was run by a nincompoop.

Anyway, here’s the part you’re gonna love …

“Nunes’ office refused to comment on the website to Politico until the news organization “retracts its multitude of fake stories on Congressman Nunes.”

Apparently, fake news wants an apology from fake news about fake news.

I cant take much more of this, y’all.

Stuff You Probably Need to Know

February 12, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Uh, y’all, when things get bad, the religious zealots get … well, freekin’ nuts.

While commenting on President Donald Trump’s very public support for Christianity, as well as the frequent Bible studies and prayer gatherings held at the White House, evangelical Pastor Paul Begley said first lady Melania Trump demanded that the White House be spiritually cleansed and that pagan, demonic items and artificats from the Obama and Clinton years be removed.

Yeah, see, the story goes that during the five hours between the time the Obamas left and Trump moved in, Melania had the White House exorcized of evil.

“… all kinds of idol gods and images and all kinds of artifacts in there that were demonic, even some of the stuff from the Clinton era because they were really tied in with the Haitians.”

Look, I’m not saying that the exorcism didn’t work and that it, in fact, got worse, but how the hell else are you going to explain these Trump Christmas decorations?

Y’all, that’s some devil stuff.  If I see that stuff, I am running the other way.

The article also says that Melania is a Catholic and Trump says he’s a Presbyterian.  Hell, Trump can’t even spell Presbyterian.

Because They Are Very Mean People Who Cannot Be Trusted, That’s Why.

Okay, so let’s pretend that you decided to give a one-time contribution to the Trump campaign of $150.  But, remember – we’re pretending now – they start randomly snatching $150 out of your bank account whenever the spirit moves them.

So let’s also pretend you’re a maid in Crystal Beach, Texas, and you probably don’t make much more than minimum wage.

Now let’s quit pretending.

Meet Pamela Goza from Vidor, Texas, who actually thought that they’d stop taking money out of her checking account once she gave them the number.

Remember Trump’s Voter Fraud Commission?

February 10, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

And remember Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach who headed up the now defunct Commission?

Well, he’s running for Governor of Kansas, and doing everything he can to look like a red-blooded, gun shooting, Jesus praying, star spangled American. That includes being a member of the advisory board for Veterans in Defense of Liberty, a group that claims to be helping veterans.

But, of course, like true Republicans, they are only helping themselves.

A review of the group’s 2014 and 2015 filings with the Internal Revenue Service showed that 94 percent of the money donated to the group went to fundraisers, according to a news release from the Better Business Bureau.

Kobach, who is not – repeat NOT – a veteran, said he has served on the board for six years “because he cares deeply about veterans and veterans’ issues,” but this was the first he heard about any of this money stuff.

Kobach said that his understanding was that money donated to the group was “going to a variety of causes for veterans … and also to support political causes and issues important to veterans as well.”

Veterans in Defense of Liberty’s website includes a July 2017 post calling on veterans to support the push to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

“Brothers and sisters, let us stand strong to our oath! We can no longer sit back and bitch ‘n moan,” the post states.

“We must realize, Americas future rests on our shoulders. President Trump is fighting to make America great again, but he cannot do it alone — we must stand strong and fight for and support him.”

Oh hell yeah, that’s those political causes.  I imagine endorsing Kobach for looking the other way is also one of those political causes.

Sumbitches.  Using veterans to line their own pockets.

Hey, Ducky Boy, Pay The Hell Up!

February 10, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Texas Republican Congresscreep Blake Farenthold said he would repay the $84,000 he owes us that he spent paying off a victim of his haute couture artisan creepiness.

He said he would and everybody heard it.

Now he looking for a way to cha-cha out of it.  He claims to be waiting for some proposed ethics bill to pass congress. The bill has nothing to do with his theft of our money or his promise to repay it.  He’s just being creepy.

I do not for the life of me understand why he’s still in congress and Al Franken isn’t.  Farenthold has been accused of far, far worse.

You can hound him in the comment sections of his Facebook page.  Snark at him on Twitter.  Call his office on Corpus at 361-884-2222.  You want your money back.

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.
