The NRA’s political arm is kinda broken. This political season they have spent only 10% of what they spent in 2014 to bolster their political minions.
Why?
The National Rifle Association’s political spending is sharply down heading into the 2018 midterm elections, a shift that could reflect declining fundraising in the wake of a string of mass shootings and an FBI investigation into the group’s Russia ties.
Plus, they are operating at a deficit.
Music to your ears?
It’s amazing what happened to the NRA when you interrupt their Russian funding.

Oh my Lord, it was Animal House except cruel.
Okay, this suite mate (not actually roommate) doesn’t know if Kavanaugh did it, but you kinda can tell that he suspects Kavanaugh did.
This is the week where everybody jumps on Kav you know except for, you know, Lindsey Graham and PJ.
Well, it appears that Jeff Flake answered the question, “If Kavanaugh is shown to have lied to the committee, nomination’s over?” His answer? “Oh, yes.”
Watch your step there, little buddy.
Polling has already shown that Republicans don’t care if he lied or even if he assaulted her, they believe he should be confirmed. Hellfire, they’d confirm him while he was drunk and he and PJ were having themselves a Devil’s Triangle with their daughter.
The Republican party has no moral underpinnings. The are the party of debt, debauchery, and disapproval.
And they suck.
If you live in a foreign state, you may not have heard that Willie and Beto drew the second largest political rally crowd in American history. They came in second to Barack Obama’s crowd in Portland in 2008. They estimate that between 55,000 – 60,000 people came to hear Willie Nelson and Beto O’Rourke in Austin this weekend.

And … 155,000 were live streaming it. If you missed it, you also missed Willie’s piano player, his 87 year old sister Bobbie, who still travels with him and the best damn harmonica player ever, Mickey Raphael.
And Willie wrote a new song. You’re gonna love it.
I love yew, Texas.
By the way, Trump is coming for Ted Cruz and said he would fill the biggest stadium in Texas. Kyle field in College Station holds 106,511 people. I’m thinking maybe Trump meant the average little league baseball stadium.
CNN:
Cornyn says senate will vote tomorrow on motion to proceed on Kavanaugh vote, with additional background check for up to a week.
Also, Mark Judge’s lawyer says he will talk to the FBI.
