Alfredo over at the Dairy Queen sent us this little diddy that no one else seems to have picked up on.

Pistol Pete Session is in trouble entering early voting with a strong showing by his opponent,  35 year old Colin Allred. Allred was born and raised in Dallas. He is also a former NFL football player who left football to go to law school.  Now he’s running for congress.

The race will be a close one because Allred is very popular, has a strong academic background, and makes outstanding speeches. Y’all keep your fingers crossed for him.

Anyway, back to Pete Sessions. Because he’s for sale, he enters early voting with a couple million on hand.

Alfredo found this oddity.

Now, what this shows is that the Dallas Police Department provided security for a kickoff for Sessions.

As Alfredo asks, “Sessions personally paid the DPD for security?  Hmmm, I wonder which DPD employee got that check?”

It does look odd. You’d think he’d want to avoid the appearance of impropriety. But not Ole Pistol Pete.

I have one other thing to add to El Jefe’s thoughts on the lack of irony by Republicans.

By the way, I thought Kamala Harris laid the framework for a later perjury charge in a precision fashion while Nasty Kavanaugh didn’t even realize what she was doing.  Some Democrats I know think she’s too brittle to run for president.  I disagree completely, she is sly and I love sly women.

Get this, Melania Trump says that she is the most bullied person in the world.  She later changed it to “one of the most” because she knew she’d get in trouble for saying she was more bullied than her husband.

First of all, I am getting sick of rich white “victims.” Bless your rich white heart, you poor little underprivileged snots.

And second, what kind of irony deficiency does it take to wear a colonial pith helmet in Africa while you’re complaining about being bullied?

Speaking of which, you gotta wonder who is dressing her when she shows up dressed exactly like Belloq, the Nazi collaborator from the Indiana Jones film Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I think her wardrobe for Africa was picked by some really pissed off proud gay man.  And I think he did great.

And yeah, I saw Kayne West with Trump. Next time, I hope they have a translation running at the bottom of the screen so I’d know what the hell he was talking about.

Y’all, Anthony Scaramucci (known as The Mooch or Scary, depending on who you talk to) has written a book.  Yeah, with mostly real words in it.

Drawing on his entire 10 days of working at the White House, Scaramucci has psychologically analyzed everybody there and done extensive background searches on them.

Kelly is “ineffective” and suffers from “personal insecurity”, Scaramucci writes; Priebus is a rat; and Bannon is a hypocrite and a weirdo.

Okay, in Kansas a Democratic woman named Sharice Davids is a lawyer and amateur mixed-martial arts fighter, and she would become the first ever openly gay member of the Kansas Congressional delegation, as well as the first female Native American lawmaker in Washington. She’s doing quite well, thank you.

Also in Kansas is a Republican precinct chairman named Michael Kalney who ain’t doin’ all that good.  Kalney took to social media and wrote a jumble of freaky words to Anne Pritchett, president of the Johnson County Democratic Women.

“Little Ms. Pritchett- you and your comrades stealth attack on Yoder is going to blow up in your leftist face,” Kalny wrote. “The REAL REPUBLICANS will remember what the scum DEMONRATS tried to do to Kavanaugh in November. Your radical socialist kick boxing lesbian Indian will be sent back packing to the reservation.”

Roughly 50 exclamation points followed the end of the message.

I just love how Republicans respect women.

Now I just want to take a deep breath to remind myself that Kavanaugh was not the victim in this thing.  He’s the one who came in screaming, threatening, yelling, making terrible faces, snarling, then sobbing uncontrollably like a somebody on a three day drunk.

And he’s going to send her back to the reservation?  Racist much, dude?
