Ya Think?

I’m overly stunned for the Saudi Prince being giver a license to kill.  I can’t say it better than Representative-elect Iihan Omar of Minnesota.

Thelma thinks the Saudis put an evil spell on Trump the first time he came there.

That orb thing just doesn’t look like it’s brain-healthy.

Rancid Butterball Turkey of the Year

November 21, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Matthew Whitaker wins the highly competitive race for Turkey of this holiday season.

Whitaker was a former U.S. attorney with a modest legal practice in Iowa that paid him $79,000 that year, according to a later disclosure he filed for a failed Senate bid.

So how did he become the sole employee of a charity that paid him $1.2 million last year?

It appears that his job description was to beat up on liberals, including Hillary Clinton.  It’s kinda the exact opposite of what I do except for that $1.2 million thing.

Now here’s the deal. The group, which really ain’t a group being as how they have only one employee, first filed for tax-exempt status under another name and said they were going to study the effect of environmental regulations on businesses.  They did diddle squat for a year and only existed with a post office box. Then they changed their name and hired Whitaker.

Now here’s the giant deal: they do not have to disclose who gives them money.  Is it Adelson? Mercer? Gladys Knight and the Pips?

The devil himself?

We now have a political hack running the justice department.  You know, like every other department in the government.

Phew! That Was Close

If you haven’t heard, the “caravan” coming to rape and pillage our country isn’t near as frightening as it was the week before election.  In fact, Trump is sending the troops home now.

The general overseeing the deployment told POLITICO on Monday that the first troops will start heading home in the coming days as some are already unneeded, having completed the missions for which they were sent.

They were sent to put up concertina  wire – a job far more cheaply done by the national guard. However, the wire is up so they can go home.  Mission Accomplished!

In contrast to the speed of the deployment in early November and the fanfare surrounding it, the withdrawal promises to be slower and quieter — but Buchanan expects it to be done before Christmas.

“That doesn’t mean it’s impossible,” he added. “But right now, this is a temporary mission, and we’re tasked to do it until the 15th of December.”

She Didn’t Know, Y’all

Okay, so Ivanka got caught using a private email server just like … we’ll, you know.

Here’s my favorite part

Some aides were startled by the volume of Ivanka Trump’s personal emails — and taken aback by her response when questioned about the practice. Trump said she was not familiar with some details of the rules, according to people with knowledge of her reaction.

Her lawyer says that all this happened before Ivanka had been “briefed on all the rules.”

So she wasn’t listening to her Dad during the campaign.  Can’t say I blame her.

Praise the Lord and Watch the Democrats Burn in Hell

Ed Young is the head pastor of Houston’s Second Baptist Church.  Second Baptist Church has about 65,000 members across five campuses. It has an annual budget of $53 million. Young races between the “campuses” on his own personal helicopter.

A few years ago, a family won a giant lawsuit against Second Baptist because one of the youth ministers was messing around with little girls. It soon came out that the church knew about it and pawned the youth minister off on another church just to hide him out.

From his wide experiences with the ungodly, Pastor Ed Young passed judgement.

For white Christian Republican pastors stung by election results, it is no longer enough to just say Democrats are wrong.

The Democratic Party is “basically godless,” a former president of the Southern Baptist Convention said in defeat on election night.

Young made it clear that this applied to “every Democrat I know.”  Which, considering that he lives in Houston means he does get out much. Young’s favorite Republic congressman, John Culbertson, lost and every judicial seat was won by a Democrat.

So, maybe he’s preaching to the wind?
