Mark Antony Jones, age 46, was out walking at 6:45 am last Thursday morning. He was carrying his Hi Point 9 mm handgun, you know, just in case something terrible happened at 6:45 am in Marion, Indiana, and he could be of assistance despite the fact that he does not have a handgun license.

Physics took over from there and his unholstered handgun began to slip in his pants waist.  He attempted to straighten it.

In medical terms, “The bullet entered just above his penis and exited his scrotum,” giving the statement ‘that took some balls,’ a deeply religious meaning.

“Grant County prosecutors will review the case to consider possible criminal charges.”

Because he has not suffered enough.

I want you to meet Texas State Representative Bill Zedler, who lives in a small area between Dallas and Fort Worth.

Zedler has introduce legislative to make it easier for parents to opt-out of getting their kids vaccinated.

He explained the scientific reasoning behind his efforts.

“They want to say people are dying of measles,” he added. “Yeah, in Third World countries they’re dying of measles. Today, with antibiotics and that kind of stuff, they’re not dying in America.”

Oh Holy Crap. If this guy, God forbid, should come down with cancer, let’s pump him full of antibiotics and send him home.

You know what bother me? Not one other Republican stood up and said, “Shuddup, you damn fool.”  All the sheep just turned around and started following the guy talking.

Okay, serial idiocy committer Matt Gaetz most likely added witness intimidation to his list of folly when he tweeted a raw threat to Michael Cohen.

That alone should question his ability to represent the American people.

But then … oh then  …..

Serial Doofus

Edward-Isaac Dovere, a staff reporter for The Atlantic, tweeted Thursday that he overheard a phone conversation between Gaetz and Trump, whom he said called the Florida Republican from Hanoi to discuss the Cohen testimony and apparent threat.

“I was happy to do it for you,” Gaetz said, according to Dovere. “You just keep killing it.”

I guess things have improved, though, because later instead of taking a bullet for the president, Gaetz just “refused to discuss the call.”

I need to call Gaetz and thank him for making Cohen look totally right in his assessment of Trump.

Beto announced that he’s not running against John Cornyn, so that clears the way for someone else to do it.  It’s polite and good for the party for him to let folks know early.

That means he has something else in mind.

I think he’s running for Vice President.

People keep saying Biden/O’Rourke. Nope. That’s not going to happen. The days of two white men on a presidential ticket are over.  If it is Biden, he’ll have to pick a woman.  However Harris/O’Rourke or Klobuchar/O’Rourke or Warren/O’Rourke sounds great.  They all also sound great reversed.

That’s just my thinking.

ON EDIT:

So, right now on this day, there are three people who stand a good chance of beating Trump in Texas.

Once Texas flips, there will never be another Republican in the White House.
