There’s breaking news in Texas that has all of us snickering.

Our former Lt. Governor Republican David Dewhurst just got beat up by his 40 year old “live-in”girlfriend.  She whacked him good.  She has been charged with injury to an elderly person.

From the DA’s Office: Caron is accused of kicking Dewhurst, 74, in the ribs during an argument on May 13. Dewhurst told police she left their home but came back on May 17 and kicked him in the ribs again. He said Caron also hit him with a pot, scratched him and bit him. Dewhurst went to the doctor and X-rays confirmed he had two broken ribs.

She was some kind of hacked-off.  Honey, that old man wasn’t dying fast enough to suit her.  It looks like she was going to visit him weekly and break another rib.

This morning, Trump tweeted:

Breaking: Michigan sends absentee ballots to 7.7 million people ahead of Primaries and the General Election. This was done illegally and without authorization by a rogue Secretary of State. I will ask to hold up funding to Michigan if they want to go down this Voter Fraud path!..” read Trump’s original tweet.

Here’s the twist.  And, rogue? Really.

Yeah, Trump corrected his original tweet and never apologized.  Fake tweet.

Well, now we know there was more than we suspected that nasty ole Steve Linick, the inspector general, was messin’ his nose around that caused him to get fired.

First, “The now-fired State Department inspector general had recently wrapped up an investigation into two other top aides to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, determining that they had likely failed to report allegations of workplace violence.”

Yeah, workplace violence. Let’s keep that quiet.

Now add to that, the Madison Dinners using taxpayers money to promote a political career for Pompeo, using his government paid staff to run personal errands, and by the way, an $8 billion arms sale to the Saudis.  You know, not that we’re counting or anything.

Last night, Ole Bubba was shaking his head and said, “Those sumbitches think they can get around everything and the damnedest part of that is that they can.”

I kinda feel the same way sometime.

Ford Motor says that Trump has to wear a mask when he comes for a photo-op in Michigan this Thursday. The spokeswoman for Ford said ….

“Our policy is that everyone wears PPE to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” McCleery said. “We shared all of Ford’s safety protocols, including our manufacturing playbook, employee pamphlet and self-assessment survey with the White House ahead of time and in preparation for this trip.”

Oh dear!  Non-smearing make-up suggestions, anyone?

I think what he was counting on is that his least favorite governor – Gretchen Whitmer – ordered a ban on non-essential factory tours.  That would include Ford. Trump would love to be banned. She didn’t take the bait.
