Rick Halle rally likes his .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol.  So much, in fact, that he carries it everywhere he goes, including his job as a certified election observer in Washington.

He’s not breaking any laws.

So you go to vote and three’s an observer with a 45 on his hip.  I might feel intimidated.  I might. Okay, so I would.  There’s no might about it.

Why does he need a gun at the polls? It’s not like they are expecting Isil to come storming into an election office. Isil goes where there are crowds.

Let’s head on over to Colorado, where they have deadly musical instruments.

Sheriff’s deputies in Colorado arrested a 60-year-old woman who pointed a rifle at her neighbor’s 11-year-old son as he played his clarinet in the backyard, authorities said on Friday.

But, in her defense, she did yell “fire in the hole” as a warning.

Here’s the fun part —

The deputy who filed the report, who said she was “very familiar” with Pifer and her address, said the woman appeared drunk when officers arrived, and that they found a 7 mm Mauser rifle by the door with two rounds in its magazine.

She had a $5,000 bond and still has her guns because … you know, liberty.

Since Gohmert is the 442nd richest congressman (he is worth a negative $150,000), maybe he can make a deal with The Kochs and get $5,000 everydamntime he says something butt ignorant.  Hell, the man would be a millionaire in a mater of months.
