Ron Paul just announced that he think secession is a good idea.

Ron Paul, the cult candidate who beta-tested tea parties for the Koch brothers, has confirmed that he does in fact approve of secessionist movements in the United States, calling them a ‘check’ on the power of the federal government.

Hell, Ron Paul still has confederate dollars in his sock drawer.

Kaylyn the Texas Democratic Party fellow who lives at my house right now says there is an upside to this.  People who would take to the bunkers over this for the next month are not the kind of people we want voting anyway.

There’s good news and bad news.

The bad news is that the Tell Juanita comments has not been working for about 48 hours.  So, if you sent me something, I didn’t get it.

The good news is that I’m getting disgusting, vicious, and vile comments from the oh so nice Christian people over at the Tea Party News Network and now I can’t get them.  Personally, I think they are the ones who broke it.  Those are perverted people over there, y’all.

I’ll let y’all know when it’s fixed.

Meet Congressfreak Doug Lamborn from Colorado.  The dude is on a Rocky Mountain High.

He is a member of the House Armed Services Committee.

So, it sounded kinda odd when he boasted that he was working behind the scene to get military member to resign.

[L]et me reassure you on this. A lot of us are talking to the generals behind the scenes, saying, ‘Hey, if you disagree with the policy that the White House has given you, let’s have a resignation. You know, let’s have a public resignation, and state your protest, and go out in a blaze of glory.

A blaze of glory?  More than a flicker of insanity.

Well, if this ain’t treason, I dunno what is.

And if there “a lot of us,” then I want to know who.  Does he mean Republican members of the House?  I wouldn’t doubt that, you know.

Just FYI – his Democratic opponent Retired Air Force Major General Irv Halter does not agree with Lamborn.  Lamborn has never served in the military.

I watched the Lt. Gov debate last night with a headquarters full of people.  Admittedly, they were my kind of people and not wacky radicals.  They were eating tamales and drinking cheap wine and that’s how you know that they are my kind of people.

First off, Dan Patrick called Wendy Davis an “anarchist.”  Actually, he called me an anarchist, along with any other person who stands with Wendy Davis.  That’s kinda weird considering that he thinks the problem with Democrats is that they want too much government.  Bubba thinks that Dan misspoke and meant to say antichrist.  That well could be.

Second off, why would he never call Leticia Van De Putte by name?  How come he only referred to Leticia as “she” or “her?”  It was getting on everyone’s nerves and oh so disrespectful.  I think I may have an answer.  He can’t pronounce her name.  If he says “La-Tesha,” that’s incorrect and Hispanics will laugh at him.  If he says “La-Tee-See-Uh,” which is correct, his base will claim he’s speaking that Mexican crapola.  So, he can either call her she or call it quits.

Third off, I remain stunned and mad as all get-out this morning at Patrick’s offer of proof that Republicans do not have a war on women.  His only example of proof was “one way you respect women is to protect little girls in the womb.”  So, Republicans respect women only if they are fetuses.  How weird is that?  Of course, women in the womb don’t ask for equal pay or health care, so there’s that.
